Chapter 109: Advise or not?

Chapter 109: Advise or not?

Kyrell’s eyes mellowed looking at her tear-stricken face but he felt even more pathetic knowing that the cause of her tears were other males.

Lyra continued to sob as he continued holding her injured hand. Removing her tightly clenched fists, he healed her hand using his powers.

"Don’t hurt yourself Lyra...I’ll go and stop them from harming themselves"

She gazed at his ruby-like eyes and frowned, "Why would you do that?"

"Because I don’t want to see you sad," he said with a sad smile hanging on his lips, "My heart hurts seeing you like this"

Lyra opened and closed her lips but no words came out of her mouth. Kyrell bent down and kissed her cheeks and distanced himself from her, "I’ll return soon"

She stared at his back as he went out of the cave, disappearing from her sight, "I can’t understand you..." she murmured.

"Try to understand him then," a cheerful voice startled her sending her into a panic.

Lyra scanned her eyes around the cave and found a small figure lounging on the stone bed.

"Who....?" Lyra asked but the small figure smirked at her, "You already forgot me?"

She observed the small blue figure and widened her eyes in remembrance, "You are the same water nymph from my dream aren’t you?"

The water nymph smiled widely and nodded, "You can call me Darya master"

"Master?"

Darya pouted at her, "You are using your powers without even realizing the source of that?"

Lyra furrowed her brows in confusion so the nymph continued explaining, "I sustain your energy and create the water attribute that you can use to defend or attack. You can also use your power to heal others, but it will take more time and practice to do that"

"So everything I dreamt was true?"

"Yes my dummy master," Darya said and Lyra frowned.

Then something flashed in her mind, "What about Vanadey?"

Darya smiled sadly hearing her late master’s name from the daughter that her master tried to protect with her life. If only had she not loved that stupid angel Adriel.

"She is not coming"

"Why?" Lyra asked becoming sad. She liked that lady with red hair and green eyes, there was an unexplainable warmth in her eyes that made Lyra both happy and sad.

Darya stared at her and changed the topic, "Leave that, first tell me about that blonde guy that just left. You don’t like him?"

"Who likes someone that kidnaps and keeps you captive?" Lyra asked rolling her eyes.

"Didn’t that snake kidnap you too?" asked Darya, purely confused. Why were the rules different for him and this blonde guy?

"Because Blake didn’t hurt anyone while taking me away and didn’t keep me locked up inside a cave-like this," she said gesturing at the invisible barrier, "I was angry with Blake too at first, but he proved himself when he didn’t hurt Lucas or Noah or any other mates of mine after I accepted them"

Darya smiled faintly at her and said, "How can you compare the two when your attitude with both of them differs so much? You never shunned that snake and gave him a chance to explain his worries and trauma in return healing him. So why are you not doing the same with this guy too?"

Lyra remained quiet and Darya continued, "Try talking to him, the gem never made a mistake in choosing your mates so don’t inflict a mistake yourself and put the beast world and your loved ones into harm"

Darya stared at Lyra as she slumped on the ground and started thinking about her blunder. Noah getting injured coated her mind from thinking rationally. Dealing with the males from the beast world was already a headache, much less the powerful ones like that blonde guy....sigh she didn’t even know his name. She would not lie, but she felt warm when he said that he would stop Blake and others from hurting themselves. If only had she talked to him calmly without being so cranky. Lyra blamed her pregnancy hormones for her mood swings and erratic nerves.

Meanwhile, the one who advised Lyra didn’t think about all these things. The only thing that mattered for Darya was that the blonde guy was powerful enough to keep her master safe from those annoying heavenly pests. She couldn’t give a chance for them to hurt even her master’s daughter before Adriel’s awakening.

Darya looked up at the cave’s ceiling but her vision went beyond that into another realm, ’Just you wait bitch, I’ll drag you down from your seat and snap your neck this time’ she murmured inwardly making sure that Lyra would not hear her cursing.

Meanwhile in the heavenly realm where all kinds of mythical creatures roam around. A beautiful woman with white hair sat on a throne covered in fluffy clouds.

The woman’s sliver-like eyes narrowed at the ground, "This arrogant little nymph!"

Another beautiful woman with blue hair and silver eyes beside her laughed at her friend’s outburst and said, "She has always been like that. Ignore her Kalena"

Kalena glanced at her friend, "I know, she gets her arrogance from her fairy master"

"Don’t badmouth the ones who are already gone" said the lady with blue hair, "It is not befitting for us angels to carry the grudge like this"

Kalena raised her brows, "That fairy wench stole my Adriel from me Liv. How can I not hold a grudge against her? We are angels, not gods to always show mercy"

Liv sighed, "Adriel never loved you, Lena. He always treated you like a friend, you were the one to mistake his intentions"

"He would have been mine if not for that fairy," Kalena said not at all guilty about killing the same fairy in the past.

"She is already dead," said Liv, "Move on with your life before it is too late. The beast world has nothing to do with this matter, so stop meddling in their matters. We are done if the archangels get to know about this"

But Kalena ignored her friend’s words and returned to see the current situation in the beast world. Her goal was to kill off Vanadey’s daughter who that wench tried so hard to keep safe. Even Adriel was trying his best to keep his daughter out of harm even when he was trapped inside the gem.

How could she allow that to happen? She wished for him to suffer after losing his daughter. So when he delivered a prophecy to the witch masters, Kalena trampled with it as much as she could. Adriel’s power was still lacking which gave her a chance to do this, then she manipulated some emotionally scarred minds to do her bidding. This was only the beginning, she could not wait to see more of her handiwork in the future.
