Chapter 106: Find her

Lyra froze in her place when Kyrell hugged her from behind and furrowed her brows as she listened to his pathetic reason for kidnapping her by hurting Noah.

"Let me go!" her sharp voice resounded inside the silent cave. She felt bad for doing this but it was the best action she could think about at this moment. If she forgave him for abducting her now, some other stronger beastman might do the same thing in the future. It would be the same as her mother forgiving Gregory for keeping her as a captive and she didn’t want to do that.

Lyra took a deep breath and repeated when he didn’t loosen his grip around her, "Let me go before I make you"

"Do it" he answered nonchalantly not minding her warning, "I don’t mind getting hurt by your hands"

She gritted her teeth and pushed him away with all her strength. Kyrell staggered and looked up at her with a sad smile, "Am I that repulsive love?"

"Stop calling me that!" she bellowed, "I don’t even know you for god’s sake, don’t talk to me like you are familiar with me"

Kyrell stared at her with his red eyes, "So it’s true"

"What is true?"

"That you have been brainwashed by that fake who dared to take my role beside you"

She exhaled hearing his ridiculous words, "Did that Gregory also tell you this? That your place was taken away?"

Kyrell frowned, "It doesn’t matter who said it, the only thing that matters is that it is true"

"You.....why are you so naive?"

"Think whatever you want but you are not going anywhere from here. This is my territory and you can’t escape even if you use your powers"

Lyra glared at him, "My mates will come for me"

"I’ll be waiting," he said and went out of the cave leaving her alone. Lyra rushed towards the entrance and tried to go out but an invisible barrier held her back.

She banged the wall attempting to crack it but Kyrell just stared at her from outside, "It’s useless, nobody can break my barriers except myself"

Lyra looked at him in disbelief, "What are you trying to do by keeping me captive? If you think that I might start liking you as time passes then you are so wrong. Just let me leave from here and we can discuss this matter together with Killian"

"Oh, that’s his name?" he asked, "You sound affectionate even while mentioning his name and ask me to be harmonious with him, who took my place?"

Lyra wanted to retort but he just left the place. She tried to use her water attribute against the barrier but it was futile, so she walked inside the cave and slumped on the bed inside, "I hope Noah is fine"

She was also surprised by her behavior with that stranger. It was not like her to be so stubborn, but hearing him say that he hurt Noah was enough for her to lose her temper. This stranger was stronger than she thought, so she just hoped that Noah was not harmed. She also feared Blake and Lucas’s outburst after not finding her at the banquet, and Killian would raise hell and she hoped that the smart guy Victor would somehow pacify them and find her soon.

And as Lyra expected Blake was turning the banquet upside down after finding Noah unconscious inside the forest.

(A few hours earlier)

Blake and Victor were sitting with their respective tribes hearing the matters that required their attention when Peter hurried towards his king.

"Your majesty..." he called out trying to catch his attention. Blake glanced at him with raised brows, "What’s wrong Peter?"

Peter scanned his surroundings and went near him, "It’s confidential your majesty"

Blake still confused got up from his seat and started walking with him. Peter glimpsed at the Vulture tribe and informed, "I think you should also bring his majesty, Victor and Prince Lucas"

"Why?"

"I’ll explain everything later please do this, your majesty"

Blake sighed and went towards both the Vulture tribe and silver wolf tribe taking the others. The trio followed Peter into the forest and noticed a beastman lying on the ground.

"Who..." Lucas started but he widened his eyes when he recognized the beastman, "Noah!"

Blake furrowed his brows and strode towards them, "What happened to him?"

Peter shook his head, "I don’t know your majesty, I came to inform you as soon as I found him"

Lucas checked Noah’s vitals and sighed, "He is fine, but seeing the wound on his head, I think he was punched by a powerful beastman"

"Where is my sweet girl?" all of them turned towards Victor, "I earlier saw that she was with that lion, where is she?"

Blake frowned, "I thought that she was with the wolf and the lion queen"

Lucas widened his eyes and sprinted out of the forest. He frantically started searching the entire banquet. He knew that Noah took her out to get some fresh air and cursed himself for not following them. As he took a step, he was harshly yanked by the collar facing raging green eyes, "Where is Lilly!?"

He struggled to get out of his hold, "Ly had nausea after eating meat, so Noah took her out of our bonfire"

Blake tightened his grip but Victor held his hand and freed Lucas, "Stop wasting your time and try to reach her with your mate bond"

"I can’t feel it!" Blake bellowed at his suggestion earning everyone’s attention in the banquet, "I’m not able to feel her presence" then he glared at Lucas, "That is why he also ran from the forest without giving us an explanation"

Victor looked at Lucas and wobbled in his place when the latter nodded his head.

Blake tried to calm down but he couldn’t stay still, after not being able to detect his Lilly’s presence. Lucas too felt painful and Victor who was the only one that was not able to relate felt jealous of them but pushed those feeling and tried to concentrate to come up with an idea to find his sweet girl.

Victor ordered Felix and Peter to bring Noah to the lion tribe and also inform Killian about this matter.

He tried to talk to Blake but the latter turned into his beast form and started attacking anyone he laid eye on creating chaos inside the banquet.

"Blake stop!" Victor screamed but the black snake didn’t seem to hear anything as he continued going berserk. While Lucas was too immersed in his grief not caring about his surroundings.

Victor glanced at both of them and grumbled, "These idiots!"

Beastman inside the banquet started running out of the eagle tribe with their females due to the commotion. The guard beastmen from the eagle tribe tried to suppress Blake but failed because of the power imbalance.

Lucas and Noah’s father came to Victor avoiding the chaos, "What happend to them, your majesty?"

The lion king was shocked when he saw his son unconscious and rushed to ask Lucas about it but was even more shocked seeing Lucas’s condition. The latter was clutching his chest with a painful expression on his face.

Victor frowned, "Lyra is missing and they can’t feel her presence through mate bond"
