VALENCIA’S POV

I knew what I wanted. Shadow didn’t need to tell me how much my body was craving his touch. How much I anticipated what his wolf was going to do next when he got on his knees right in front of me and kissed my abdomen.

I wasn’t a nursery kid who didn’t know what these sensations in my body were or why I was feeling so hot.

I knew everything and probably that was the reason, when Shadow gave me another chance, lifting me while he pressed his body into me, I jumped onto the opportunity immediately.

It was too good, too much for me to take in, and I wanted a release here and now.

Blame it on my entire life of living like an innocent untouched soul, but now that he was giving me a little leeway and allowing me to use his body to pleasure myself, I didn’t want to let go of this opportunity.

With a sigh, I clenched my legs around his torso, letting him know what exactly I wanted.

He didn’t say anything and just kept looking at me before he placed his lips on my neck.

"I told you I will handle it," He whispered before I felt him going still.

Was he mind linking his people while being in such an intimate position with me? Sweat beads appeared on my forehead as I gulped in nervousness.

"Do you want to continue or do you want to go out?" He asked after a soft sigh, and I looked at him, flabbergasted.

Was he seriously asking me this when we were on the verge of being caught? Even if his people take away the saleswoman, what about Aiden? What about the CCTV cameras? I couldn’t control my raging thoughts until he raised his hand and cupped my cheeks.

"Breathe. Will you? No one will ask you anything or taint your reputation until I am here. Don’t worry about it. Your dignity is my responsibility," He said, looking me straight in the eyes.

I don’t know what it was, but the way he always says these things with such confidence as if the entire world was in his control, strangely makes me feel more attracted to him and trust him with everything.

"I want to go out," I whispered even though my body was protesting.

He nodded before he put me on the ground.

I saw him getting on his knees as he evened my dress, easing the creases with his hand, making my heart melt at his sweet gesture before he stood and combed my hair with his fingers.

"You look perfectly fine," He whispered before evening his shirt that I didn’t even realize I had opened the top two buttons off, making me look away in shyness.

"Don’t act so cute in front of me. I might not allow you to leave if you continue this," he told me before bending and pecking the junction between my neck and shoulders.

"This is the point," He said, confusing me, and I looked up at him, hoping he would say something else to make me explain.

However, he just looked at me with a smirk before opening the door, making me widen my eyes.

He left just like that.

And me? Well, I stood there watching and thinking if I should really leave like that.

However, I didn’t hear any commotion from outside even after 10 minutes of waiting in anticipation, I was about to leave when I heard a knock on the door.

"Miss, I bought more dresses in red," The voice of the saleswoman came, and I opened the door with a smile.

"You are finally here, I was wondering where you went. Also, I am sorry about earlier. I was talking over the call and didn’t want my mom to know I was shopping, so I made those noises deliberately to act like I was working on something at home," I lied, unsure where that even came from.

"Oh, that’s completely fine. I am sorry my voice must’ve interrupted," she said before showing me five more dresses.

As I tried on two more dresses, my phone vibrated, and I looked at the message from the unknown number.

"Though you looked beautiful in every dress, the first one still has my heart. And why not? It knows what we shared,"

The message said and I felt heat creeping up my neck immediately. I looked around instinctively, my gaze meeting Shadow, who was standing at some distance, leaning on the pillar while looking at me as he sipped on something.

I gulped before stuffing the phone back in my pocket, feeling a weird nervousness in my heart.

Seriously, what was going on with me? This wasn’t supposed to be like this.

"Hey, I am so sorry it took me so long," Aiden walked inside the shopping center.

’Well, it’s not like we care at all. You can leave for all we care. Your absence gave us some good time with the man our heart desires after all,’ Aurora said shamelessly, and honestly, though I wanted to rebuke, it was kind of true too.

"It’s okay. Let’s go choose your outfit now. I am taking this red one," I signaled to the saleswoman before looking at Shadow, who smirked at me, making me blush even harder.

"Are you okay? Why are your cheeks turning red?" Aiden extended his hand to touch my cheeks.

I widened my eyes when my hand moved on its own and smacked his hand away, and judging from the look on Aiden’s face, I am sure he was shocked too.

"Oh, I thought there was a fly," I said before looking away.

’Aurora, what the hell?’ I asked my fake-wolf, knowing all too well that it was her who made me do it.

’What? I didn’t do anything. It was your body’s subconscious reaction. What do you think it is doing? It is recognizing and accepting only Shadow’s touch now,’ Aurora explained.

I glared at her because it all started with her that I was in this situation.

’Stop blaming me for everything. I wasn’t the one who was trying to dry hump him earlier,’ Aurora attacked me, and I scowled before grabbing Aiden’s hand.

"Let’s go. We don’t have much time. I am thinking of getting my hair done in a parlor, and you have no idea how much time it takes," I told Aiden who smiled at me before we walked to the men’s section.

As the helper over there was helping Aiden, I received another message notification, and thinking it was from Shadow again, I quickly pulled out my phone.

However, seeing it was from a private number, I cleared my throat before moving to some distance so that no one saw what the message was all about.

I opened the message.

"Enjoying some cozy time with the beta of the pack? What did you guys do? Kiss? Hug? Did you enjoy that tongue that tasted you? Should I give him a raise or something for his excellent work?" The message said, and I gulped.

"What do you know?" I quickly typed back, my heart feeling anxious again.

"Oh, I know everything about you, baby. Have I ever told you I am obsessed with you? Like a hawk, I am watching you. But don’t be afraid, I get happy when you smile too," the message said, and I didn’t even know who this psycho was.

Not worry? This man was telling me he was stalking me like a hawk and saying I shouldn’t worry. What kind of sick joke was this?
