In the mountains, the mainland witches, who had been responsible for ensuring things went alright with Valencia and her powers until she was ready to fight the devil without hindering and partaking in her daily life, looked at the other witches with a not-so-friendly expression.

The witch leader nodded, basking in the appreciation.

"Our angels had given us a task to ensure Valencia’s safety to the utmost capability, and we are just doing our work," the witch leader smiled.

Matilda and Mrinalini from the mainland witches pressed their lips into thin lines.

So apparently, that was the reason these low-class witches were allowed to join this meeting.

"We were trying to find ways to help Valencia fight back the devil. And if anything could be used to enhance her powers," Mrinalini said.

Kelly scoffed inwardly.

"Is that so? So, did you find anything?" Alisha asked, but the mainland witches did not reply to her question.

They bowed their heads, keeping silent because it was far better than ruining things even more.

Alisha sighed before rolling her eyes.

"I want to make a team of witches that will primarily work on assisting Valencia and keeping an eye on her. If needed, we need your help to suppress Aurora’s powers so she doesn’t transform until she is faced with the devil," Alisha said.

Though they understood what she was trying to say and do with all the danger around Aurora’s transformation, it was still a tricky move.

"But, Angel Alisha, we all know these werewolves need a lot of practice with their wolf form to fight in any battle. Besides, Valencia is already 100 times weaker than the devil. Will keeping her wolf repressed till then be a good choice?" One of the witches’ leaders asked.

Alisha sighed.

It wasn’t as if she hadn’t thought about it, but it was the only way she could think of to keep Valencia alive and ready to attack the devil.

"The devil has changed its course. Now, he doesn’t want Valencia’s heart. Now he wants to make her his woman, have a baby with her, and take that baby’s heart to stay alive forever.
