Beast Alpha and His Cursed Luna
Chapter 212: Who helped her?

Chapter 212: Who helped her?

THIRD PERSON’S POV

’Are you with me, Aurora?’ Valencia asked her wolf, who looked back at her with a smirk.

’When I am not? This is my life too,’ The fake wolf spirit replied as she stood from her place.

’Do you think changing into my tigress form is worth it? Will it be able to save me from the trouble?’ Valencia asked.

The wolf didn’t reply this time, and Valencia immediately knew she disapproved of the idea, or she would’ve said yes already or forced her to transform.

She took a deep breath and looked at the army before her.

She nodded at Theo, who nodded back at her.

The pack’s alpha looked at his soldiers and signaled them to attack the girl individually.

Valencia, who was ready to fight, tightened her hold on the sword.

As soon as the first man swung the sword at her, she countered the attack with her sword and kicked the man away. Her eyes started to turn a dark shade of sky gray as she concentrated on fighting, her gaze storming across all the men aiming at her.

Seeing another man coming at her, she countered the attack before doing a summersault in the other direction and kicking the third man away.

Valencia could see she would never be able to win if she kept standing here, and she needed to keep moving towards the exit of the pack along with Theo.

She called Theo, who immediately looked at her and understood her signal.

He nodded and started doing the same.

Little by little, they kept moving towards the exit of the pack, which was quite far, and with all the people attacking them, it was looking quite impossible.

Seeing the girl fighting so vigilantly and his people who were going one by one losing to her and tainting their reputation, the alpha nodded at five more men to attack the girl collectively.

Valencia looked at the men approaching her, and she knew she needed Aurora’s speed to help her counter every attack.

’Aurora!’ Valencia clenched her teeth as she flexed her fingers and tightened them around the sword again.

As the men came at her together, the first two men were about to attack her together when something happened.

They were sent flying back into the air, making them fall back on the alpha’s foot.

Valencia looked at the scene in pure shock before looking at her sword.

She didn’t move her sword. She was sure about it. But if she wasn’t the one who moved her sword and Theo was fighting at some distance. Who the hell helped her?

At the same time, in the heavenly palace, Angel Alisha smirked at the scene unfolding before them.

Kelly looked at Angel Samiosa, unsure what was so amusing to Alisha.

’Has she lost her mind?’ Kelly asked Samiosa, using the unique power link, and the latter glared at her, trying to tell her not to speak such words about her or that she would throw them in hell.

’Don’t you think the same?’ Angel Kelly asked again.

Though Samiosa didn’t want to get into trouble, she looked at their elder and wondered if Angel Kelly was right.

"You know I can hear you two, right?" Angel Alisha asked before she looked at the two angels with an amused expression as soon as their expression turned guilty.

She sighed.

Usually, she would’ve at least gotten annoyed at them, but seeing what was happening, she could barely feel irritated. For once, she was happy for Valencia, but the fact alone was a sign of her heart weakness.

She wasn’t supposed to root for that girl who awakened the devil.

They had warned the witches, and the witches had warned the council about how Valencia shouldn’t have been allowed to bleed in her heat phase, but things didn’t work out, and her curse worked well.

The devil they wanted to prevent from awakening took its form and became more substantial with time.

Then again, could they do anything about it when the moon goddess and her messengers were quiet?

Alisha even wondered if that was exactly what the Moon Goddess wanted to happen.

She would’ve killed Valencia long ago when they found out about the curse if she had wanted.

She could’ve prevented her very birth into this world. But at that time, she gave the excuse that the wolf was having its last time and that she would handle things herself if things went haywire.

Alisha looked at the wolf that had reincarnated for the eleventh time, atoned for the sins of killing 10000 souls, and couldn’t help but scoff inwardly.

Maybe this was a sign. Despite turning her wolf or not, Valencia has been the only female in history to be able to keep this ancient wolf inside her for more than 18 years.

Maybe this time, the devil reawakened to be killed and have his end for once and all. That was the only reason she could think of.

"What makes you amused, Angel Alisha?" Kelly finally asked when she saw the elder Angel was deep in thought.

"The scene before me," She said before she wiped the air before her, and a screen appeared there.

The scene from the Caribbean’s Den Pack displayed on the screen, and to say the two angels were shocked, would be an understatement.

"Is this..." Kelly started, not being able to contain her curiosity.

Angel Alisha nodded her head.

"It’s indeed what you think it is. The infamous forest spirits that have been protecting the forest and flora and fauna along with the sea that no one mentions," Alisha whispered.

Kelly looked stupefied at the scene.

"But why?" Samiosa was the one to step ahead as she raised her hand to enhance the scene and see if Valencia was the one who did it.

However, judging from the girl’s expression, it was clear she was as surprised as the rest of them.

She looked at Alisha for answers, who shrugged.

"Why do you think so? Do you think the forest spirits have the guts to go against the ancient wolf that has been reigning right under the moon goddess? Valencia isn’t just a cursed child, remember?" Alisha whispered.

Kelly nodded in understanding.

Right. How could they forget about the wolf she holds inside her? Though she calls her fake because of the shape-shifting and inability to transform into her original form, the truth won’t change.

"Does that mean the wolf has finally decided to make her presence known?" Kelly asked, not liking where this was going.

The transformation of the wolf might end in Valencia’s death, and after awakening the monster she wasn’t supposed to, how could she die in peace?

"Do you think that a wolf who has atoned for the sins of the 10000 deaths needs to transform into her original form and risk her human life, risk the feasibility of her 11th reincarnation to take down and tame some forest spirits?" Alisha asked.

On Earth, Valencia looked at the long tree branches trying to throw her off in the forest earlier, flying in the air from behind her, as if standing together with her and didn’t know what was happening.

Theo looked at the scene in pure shock as the hair on the back of his neck stood. He was stupefied.
