Chapter 105: Ruthless

Chapter 105: Ruthless

Ryzen crouched on the marble balcony railing, watching the guards below move like ants. He had finally made it into the General’s mansion—the man responsible for protecting the city, yet here Ryzen was, doing what no one else dared.

He dropped silently into the shadows, summoning his chain with a grin.

The hunt had begun.

The mansion was quiet. Livai had no family—just his title and the weight of 63 power points. The ruler of Livera.

"We’re not here on vacation, Ry," Meta-bot murmured, as Ryzen glanced at his reflection in the glass wall as heavy rain was prouning outside perfetly bleding with his plan of assasiantion.

"I know," Ryzen whispered, smiling faintly. "Its just i want to see the face who is about to kill Genral rank! since I havent killed one yet"

His footsteps made no sound as he descended the stairs into a long, dimly lit hallway. At the far end, he saw him—Livai, lounging on the sofa with a beer in hand. The spacious room flashed with light from an action movie playing on an advanced screen.

"look at him, death is behind him and he is having fun" Ryen said.

"A sneak attack is possible," Meta-bot advised. "I recommend it. If he gets alert, things will get difficult."

Ryzen dropped to the ground and crawled forward like a predator. In seconds, he was behind the sofa.

The chain lashed around Livai’s throat, pulling tight. The man struggled, gasping, unable to breathe.

"General," Ryzen said with a crooked smile. "You let your guard down. I warned you never to do that around me."

Livai clawed at the chain with one hand, the other reaching desperately for his Meta-bot—a sleek device disguised as a phone on the table.

"Y-You..." Livai rasped. The pressure on his throat was unbearable. He knew it. This could be his last moment.

But then—Ryzen laughed.

He suddenly stepped back, letting the chain loosen. "This is no fun," Ryzen said. "Come on... get up and fight."

"Stupid," Meta-bot grumbled, activating itself without waiting for permission. Nanoparticles surged, wrapping Ryzen in sleek purple armor even covering his face. "Dont play around"

Livai collapsed forward, coughing violently as he snatched his Meta-bot, still shocked Ryzen had let him go. He could’ve killed him without effort. But no... this young man, barely pushing 45 power points, wanted a fight.

A fair one. Or maybe... just a more satisfying kill.

"You’re insane..." Livai growled, activating his Meta-bot.

A ripple surged through the air as Livai’s body was wrapped in gleaming green and black armor, thick-plated His right forearm unfolded, revealing a rotating, triple-barrel machine gun that began charging with a low hum.

"I trusted your father," Livai spat, leveling his gun at Ryzen. "But you? You’re a curse to all of us."

"Ouch," Ryzen smirked. "I’m your messiah, not a curse. But hey—why am I even talking to a dead man?"

Without warning, Ryzen slash his chain forward.

The screen behind Livai exploded as the chain shot past him—he dodged with a twist, spinning to the side and unloading a burst from his plasma gun.

The roar was deafening. Plasma bullets tore through furniture, pillars, and marble, lighting up the room in flashes of neon fury.

But Ryzen moved like a lizard running across walls, flipping behind cover, closing the distance with a wicked grin.

"Is this all you’ve got?" Ryzen called out, hiding behind a pillar—only for another round of bullets to slam into it, blasting chunks of stone everywhere.

He ducked and rolled, leaping away just as the pillar crumbled. Then—he heard them.

Footsteps. Heavy. Rushing. The guards were coming.

"It’s time to get serious, Purple," Ryzen muttered to his Meta-bot, grabbing his chain with both hands.

He was surrounded.

"Now what Kid, u cant espcape" Livai bellowed, emptying his magazine in one wild storm of fire. "I’ll kill you this time Ryzen!"

Ryzen dug his feet into the marble ground with a thud, then spun his chain with mastery, as if he were creating an invisible shield around him.

Every plasma bullet bounced off the spinning chain, deflecting in every direction—ripping into walls, ceilings... and the guards who had just reached him.

Cries filled the air as the bullets shot trough some of the guards, Blood splattering and people collapsing on the ground.

"No..." Livai froze. eyes wide, glued to the bodies of his dying men. "What have you done?"

Ryzen grabbed the hook at the end of his chain and with a powerful swing, hurled it straight at Livai’s face.

The hook flew like a bullet, slicing the air with a shrill whistle. Livai barely ducked, the metal grazing his helmet as it slammed into the wall behind him with a thunderous crack.

"Damn you!" Livai cursed, pushing himself to his feet. His greenish aura ignited, flaring wildly around his body.

But then—he froze.

Before him, the chain snaked across the room, wrapping the space like a web, twitching with unnatural life. At the other end, Ryzen stood in a battle stance, one hand holding the coiled link.

"You’re a dead man!" Livai roared, fury boiling over. His aura surged and merged with his machine gun, coating it in green flame—a sure sign of a power burst about to detonate.

But Ryzen was faster.

With a sharp flick of his wrist, the chain came alive, spinning in the air like a floating serpent. One end whipped around Livai’s ankle—tight.

Livai’s eyes widened. "Wha—"

Before he could react, Ryzen twisted the chain again, and another loop surged forward, wrapping around Livai’s torso like a constricting beast.

In a single brutal motion, Ryzen yanked. Livai was torn from his spot—gun still glowing—and hurled backward.

Glass shattered by the impact sending Livai flying outside with bruatl thud.

Livai’s body crashed through the tall glass wall, spiraling into the rain-soaked courtyard below in a flash of green and black.

Just as he tried to rise—Ryzen landed on him, crashing down from above like mance he was.

Livai’s eyes widened in horror. The hook had already pierced through his nano-tech armor, plunging deep into his stomach.

"This—this isn’t possible..." he gasped, stunned.

The pain was unbearable, but what shocked him more was how Ryzen knew exactly where to strike, the weak point even his Meta-bot had failed to register until it was too late.

Livai kicked, struggling to dislodge him, but Ryzen sat atop him, relentless, driving the weapon deeper with each strike.

Rain poured down, hissing against their metallic armor. Blood mixed with water, pooling around them until Livai’s nano-bots kicked in, sealing the wound—too little, too late.

Ryzen stood, chest heaving. Without a word, he stepped onto the heavy machine gun, pinning it underfoot. Then, he raised his chain and smashed it down onto Livai’s helmet.

Again. And again.

"I want to see your face!" Ryzen snarled, each strike echoing through the downpour like thunder.

"His reserves are almost depleted," Purple said and the helmet began to crack, nano-particles falling off as the armor dropped into manual control.

Fear bloomed on Livai’s bruised, exposed face. "I... I didn’t mean to take his place..." he choked out.

Ryzen paused. "I don’t care," he muttered. "It’s not about him anymore. Or me. It’s about us as all"

His gaze lifted to the towering statue of his father, standing proud in the courtyard—the symbol of a bygone era. Ryzen smirked, then wrapped his chain around the statue’s neck.

With one violent pull, he yanked it down.

Livai’s eyes went wide, calling every last nano-particle to shield his head.

The statue crashed down.

The impact shattered concrete. Livai’s body was crushed, but somehow, the nano-bots preserved his head in last dich effort.

"Neither of you deserve anything," Ryzen said coldly. "He was a coward. And you... you were his shadow."

He turned, the chain retracting into his metal suit. "This is your punishment. This is your freedom. This is your karma. And this... is your death."

Livai’s eyes bulged, trembling as he tried to speak—but blood flooded his throat, choking his words before they could escape. He gurgled, convulsed, and fell still in the rain.

"Another one down," the Meta-bot announced coldly as the last of the nano-particles dissolved into the water, vanishing like smoke. "You have reached 45 power points."

Ryzen stood silent, staring down at the corpse. "Somehow, I’m still not happy,"

"Maybe it’s because you just killed your father’s old friend?" the Meta-bot chirped in a mock-sympathetic tone.

"He wasn’t a friend. He was an enemy," Ryzen snapped. "This whole world is the enemy... and I’ll end it myself."

"That’s why I chose you, Ryzen. You’ve got something twisted in you... something driven. Watching you burn everything gives me chills." meta-bot blincked on his chest tattoo.

Ryzen exhaled as he etarcted his armor. "I think I’m ready to take him on."

"Nope," the Meta-bot replied instantly, its tone serious now. "We don’t know his full strength. even though he has just reached General rank, the Black lineage... they’re different. His kind have always been monsters. And his chosen one? He’ll be a true beast."

Ryzen’s lips curled into a smirk. "Let’s see what happens when the beast meets the devil."He walked off from the flooded courtyard. "I’m itching to face him. But first... let’s destroy their hope."

"Tyson," the Meta-bot confirmed. "24 power points...He won’t be a problem."

"Then we kill his friends" Ryzen said, "Until he becomes promblem"
