Chapter 159 - 159: Who Is The Man?

In the room behind the meat shop from where Ye Qian bought meat these days.

The room had an eerie silence along with a putrid smell that would even make people vomit out whatever they would have eaten before.

In the room, Ye Qian continued to glance around as if he couldn't see anything due to the darkness.

Ye Qian didn't let them think he knew of their existence he continued to act.

He was worried about bringing any harm to the three people who were held as hostages, even though he could kill the men in black masks with ease.

He was just worried that the gruesome carnage would be carried out would in case frighten the three and they might be more afraid of him than the ones who held them as captives.

He gave it a thought and an excellent idea popped into his mind.

Just like in the morning, he could make the three lose their memories of this time even if he were to kill the others and it was a nice decision, as the little girl would have this nightmarish memory all her life if it were not removed now.

Ye Qian would not think much when it was the life of a child he had to save or help.

He quickly turned around and waved both his hands in the air.

Meanwhile, by the entrance of the shop where Little Qiqi and Little Jia were playing Charades.

But unknown to them someone was keeping an eye on them while they played.

To be precise the people's eyes were fixed on Little Qiqi, and not on Little Jia.

There were three men wearing suits and glasses in the classic bodyguard attire of some large family.

But their gazes didn't have any kind of hostility at the girls and seemed to be vigilant of something as they kept eyes all around them and even the little girls.

"Miss Yuan, the girl is with a man and some other child, for now, it looks like everything is fine."

In a coarse voice, a man said on his phone while his eyes continued to peer all around the surroundings.

"Hmm, just don't let anything happen to them, I will take care of other things."

A woman's beautiful and heart moving voice was heard from the other side of the call which seemed a lot more serious.

"Yes miss Yuan, we will take care of everything here."

Saying that he took the phone off his ear and was about to end the call when the lady on the opposite side said something.

"Wait wait."

The guard raised his brows and put the phone back.

"Yes, Miss Yuan."

The man said without any kind of emotion or change in his tone.

It seemed like these bodyguards were highly trained and efficient after one was to look at their stature, body and behaviour.

"Did you say that there is a man?"

The voice seemed suspicious and frowning as the lady asked.

"Yes."

The man replied nonchalantly.

"Do you know what the man looks like or the relationship between the girl and him?"

The lady seems to have her interest piqued after hearing that there was a man carrying the little girl.

"Umm, both the girls seemed to be calling the man their father it seems."

The man answered after discussing with the other two of his colleagues.

"Huh?"

The woman on the other side seemed to be confused and shocked as there was no response from her for a few seconds.

"Miss Yuan, do you have any orders for us?"

Seeing that the lady didn't say anything further, the man wanted to cut the call and thus asked if there was any other thing she need for them to do.

"Umm, if you have a photo of that man send me?"

The lady's voice seemed to be suspicious of something.

"No ma'am we don't have one, but we will try to send you after they come out."

The man replied and then tried to find a way.

"Hmm, as soon as they come out send me that man's photo. I will be waiting for it."

The lady on the other side seemed to be in a hurry as she ordered the man.

"Umm, yes Ma'am."

For the first time, the guard's expressions changed.

He has been working as the bodyguard of Miss Yuan, whom he had talked to on the phone for about 5 years by now and this was by far the first time the young miss had behaved in such a manner, usually, she was calm and intelligent, always using her mind to think of first, but this time something seemed to be off with her as she was asking for the man.

The guard turned at his other two colleagues with his brows raised.

But to his response, the two only shrugged their shoulder and then continued to keep their eyes around while one was responsible for keeping an eye on the little girl.

Unknown to the people keeping an eye on them, the girls continued to play with each other many games of guessing but they would look at the closed metal door every now and then.

"Big Sister when will Papa come, Qiqi is really bored now?"

Little Qiqi asked with a small pout on her lips as she glanced at the metal door.

It had been not more than 10 minutes and the girls were already so much bored.

Little Jia chuckled with her hand on her mouth and said.

"Qiqi, Papa has gone just for a few minutes and you are so bored, what will you do when he goes to do some work, my little girl?"

Though Little Jia asked her smile also left her face and she felt sad.

"No, Big Sister, Papa doesn't need to work like everyone, he only goes out and gets so much money, so Qiqi knows that Papa will not do some work."

Little Qiqi shook her head seeing Little Jia's sad face, patting her shoulder and consoling her.
