Chapter 156 - 156: Going Out With Papa!

In the kitchen, Grandma Yan sneered after seeing Yuan Meng and Ning Wei trying to explain what had happened in the guest room.

Though the two were embarrassed she understood that such things might not have happened between them, she was just trying to be a little playful with them and since she didn't know much about Ning Wei it was a kind of test she was taking to understand her behaviour.

Seeing their flushed red faces and embarrassing behaviour, Grandma Yan gave a slight nod and chuckled.

"If you two say so I will believe, but Little Wei why are you blushing so much?"

Grandma Yan asked while she washed the rice.

"Umm I,....I..."

Ning Wei didn't know what to say about this, she was already embarrassed when Grandma Yan was talking about the moans coming out of the room and now that she was asked why her face was flushed, she couldn't say that she liked Ye Qian to Grandma Yan, right?

"Mom, won't any woman be embarrassed if you were to say something like this to them much less Sister Wei, who doesn't know much about handling the questions you bombarded her with."

Yuan Meng came to Ning Wei's rescue while patting her shoulder and said to Grandma Yan with an explaining smile.

Grandma Yan was grinning from ear to ear as she saw that Yuan Meng and Ning Wei were like sisters and didn't bother with it further.

The ladies continued to laugh and giggle, as they continued to talk and do the chores they were requested to do.

Meanwhile, as Ye Qian walked out of the kitchen, the little girls jumped up after seeing him and rushed.

"Papa!"

The girls stood right in front of him and extended their hands.

Ye Qian smiled and picked them in both his hands.

"Where is Papa going now?"

Little Qiqi asked seeing him walk towards the entrance of the house.

"Butterfly, I am going to the market to buy some meat and other things."

Ye Qian walked to the couch and crouched so as to make them sit.

Ye Qian nodded at Grandpa Xiao who gave a slight nod to him and then continued to read the newspaper.

Meanwhile, as Ye Qian wanted them to place the girls on the couch Little Qiqi pulled his sleeves and asked with starry eyes.

"Papa, can Qiqi also come with you?"

"Papa, I also want to come with you too?"

Little Qiqi said with puppy eyes and soon Little Jia also joined.

Ye Qian would never be able to say no to any of the girls' requests much less now when they were asking him with puppy eyes.

So it was destined to happen.

"Aww. How can I not take my little girls with me for a walk around?"

Saying that he picked up the two and walked to the shoe rack.

"Papa, Qiqi will wear shoes by herself, don't worry."

Ye Qian was about to crouch down to let the girls wear shoes but Little Qiqi said while she sat on the stair and started wearing her shoes.

Little Jia was the same and Ye Qian could only nod at them and feel proud for their mature behaviour.

"CLAP CLAP"

The little girls patted their hands to shake the dust and gave a smile at Ye Qian.

"Papa, we are ready to let go."

Ye Qian nodded and picked them up.

He couldn't let them walk since it was a lot colder outside and if he were to let them walk then he would need about an hour to go and come back home.

And it was already late, so he couldn't be slower or the meat shop might get closed.

Ye Qian picked up the girls and walked to the door.

"CLICK"

Little Jia opened the door with a click since Ye Qian was carrying them.

"Thank you, Jia."

Ye Qian pecked her head and walked out.

"Hehe."

Little Jia giggled and then shivered.

"PHEW PHEW"

It was the same for Little Qiqi as well.

It was too cold and they had not even gotten the jackets.

The two girls got close to Ye Qian feeling the cold in the air as soon as Ye Qian walked out.

Ye Qian nodded and used his Spiritual Energy to form a thin net around them so as to not allow the cold wind to make the girls feel cold.

As the thin energy net surrounded them, the girls felt a little warm and looked at Ye Qian who was smiling.

"Thank you, Papa."

The girls gave a tender smile and looked around at the dark sky covered in many glistening stars with their big watery eyes.

The sky was completely empty without clouds and seeing the shining and shimmering stars, it was like a dream of every small child to see clear sky shining with stars.

"Now should we go?"

Ye Qian asked after a few seconds as the girls were gazing at the sky with their eyes brightened.

"Hmm."

The two nodded still staring above.

With that Ye Qian nodded and then started to "WALK" at his speed.

"WHOOSH SHOSHHHH."

All the girls could hear was the whooshing sound of the wind cutting through and see the blurring surrounding which moved with a great speed in front of them.

With each step that ye Qian took he would be ten meters away from his previous position.

"Clap clap."

"Wow, Papa is so fast, just like the FLASH."

Little Qiqi clapped her hands seeing the fast-moving trees and buildings around them and exclaimed with shiny eyes.

Little Jia was the same but she was just smiling and nodded at Little Qiqi.

If one were to compare then the girls could at least see the things around them a little but many a few figures of the people and beggars who were sleeping on the road only hear a whooshing sound and couldn't see anything else.

This was all because the eyes of the little girls' were enhanced as Ye Qian had helped them in the morning, this was no less than a miracle for anyone out there in the world to have eyes like the girls.
