Chapter 152 - 152: Mother Will Cook For You

After the atmosphere was brought back to serenity, Ye Qian continued to talk to his mother while his father would ask some questions every now and then.

Though he was not very good at making stories, he only carried with what Yuan Meng had told him, that was to say he was taken by a special military agency and was not allowed to contact, nor tell them about his existence.

The girl pouted before giving an explanation.

"Everyone does the same."

Saying that she harrumphed while glaring at Little Jia who was trying not to giggle.

"Big Sister you are also the same, Qiqi will not talk to Big Sister and Aunt Lan'er and her friends."

She said and then closed her eyes while folding her hands on her chest.

Seeing her behaviour they really wanted to laugh out loud but held back.

Meanwhile, Ye Qian's heart was filled with happiness as he heard about Little Qiqi when she was a baby.

He was an unlucky father who was not able to see the most loving time his baby went through, the time when a baby took its first step when it said a few words for the first time, and all those little lovely activities which every father would cherish in their heart, but he was not able to.

This was the only thought which was like a needle pricking in his heart every time when he thought about Little Qiqi.

But after hearing all this, though it was not the same as if he was there with Little Qiqi, at least it gave him something to hold onto that was related to when his daughter was still a baby.

Seeing Little Qiqi pout her lips, Ye Qian felt she was more than just his daughter to him she was like a part of his soul, a different bond which they had would never be capable of disappearing even if they were far away from each other or no matter the time period they were in.

Ye Qian smiled and took Little Qiqi in his arms and held her to his chest while he whispered.

"Butterfly, I am really happy to be with you."

"Huh."

Little Qiqi was confused by hearing such words but she was still happy with what he said and rubbed her tiny head on his chest while mumbling.

"Qiqi is also very very happy to have Papa back."

She had always thought about how would it feel like if she was with her Papa and now she was and it was the happiest moment for her.

Meanwhile, Little Jia smiled and hugged Ye Qian's side.

Ye Qian would of course not let her feel left alone, he smiled and wrapped his hand around her shoulder and brought her next to Little Qiqi.

Though she was not his real daughter, she was no less than one for him.

"Okay, now you three are you going to make this old woman jealous of you?"

Grandma Yan's voice brought them back to their simple lovely hug.

Ye Qian knew they were tired and so he wanted them to have a more healthy meal than yesterday, then there were his parents who also seemed to have some hidden ailments so he would cook something which would help them gain some vitality and with their body's conditions.

But he also knew that he might have to do it slowly or things may go sideways and harm them if he didn't make them adapt to the Spiritual Energy now.

The age for them to start cultivation had already been surpassed and if he wanted to help them gain some cultivation even if it was only for making them live longer he would have to make their bodies strong enough to handle the effects of Elixirs and Pills he would make later if he could found some substitute herbs for making some.
