There was just no correct way to describe what happened---the only thing fitting the bill to depict the picture was 'it just appeared out of nowhere.'

It wasn't like instant teleportation, just as if it had been there even before them---like an universal truth.

It looked at the members present as it hovered in the airspace of a cliff range that overlooks the northeast to northwest depression area which was under chariot's care.

Its height was slightly over three metres, with the geometrical structures defining its human-like appearance---the body however was a pure white construct, with orange lines flowing in some of the body parts. It didn't seem to have any organ resembling ears, the only part apparent was the vivid zig-zagged teeth.

Everyone were loss at the words seeing the appearance of the big boss right in front of them. Plus its striking and unpredictable appearance didn't help in keeping their surprise.

They felt like trapped in a ship facing the wrath of the sea, waves crashing down on them, unable to utter any word.

The monster was still, but everyone---whether it's Honnou or even Kujou---felt like a foreign sensation trying to squash them. The pressure was so dreadful they couldn't move their finger even once.

W-What in the world happened... the thought spinned in their mind.

The overwhelming presence it exudes now was so incomparable to when it was fighting Limey. Hell, had it not for it sharing the same appearance, everyone would have surely thought they were facing another entity.

In that instant, Kujou prepared herself to face death. ---Correction. It wasn't just her, but Honnou, first-grade explorers, second-grade explorers, Fukuyama, Chisato. They all felt death closer to them than ever.

How about trying to escape...impossible. If they hadn't yet died, then any movement would surely herald the death for them.

It would apparently be an effortless act for it to chop off their heads from the body, wring their waist like a wet cloth, or impale their hearts.

This would be their...grave.

What an amateur, what pro. What grade explorers they were. They all knew all were empty titles, mere air in front of that.

Their survival instinct screamed inside them---they're nothing but mere flies! It would swat them as easily as they swat a fly!

No one needed anyone's instruction to understand such a simple fact.

There was just one person who wasn't drowning in fear. As the holder of special-grade calling, <Hell Beast Summon>, the young man was perhaps the sole person closest in existence to that thing.

Tenji stepped on the ground with a force and hurled a punch at that. He wasn't using any weapon except her fist and alone lunged at the 'symbol of fear' to smash it.

Once could say his bravado was misplaced, but he was definitely a hero more than anyone.

The young man was just a student who had yet to obtain an official licence, nevertheless he still didn't cower back and retaliate. Finally, as if someone had broken the spell, the petrified professional explorers remember how to breathe.

His enemy apparently tried to say something but Tenji ignored that and smashed his fist---enchanted with skill <Blaze> that grants a 2.25 fold increase in attack---at the cheeks of the monster.

The fist connected successfully and it sent a terrific shock across its cheek.

Monster was unable to react to the sudden punch in time. It uttered some incomprehensible word when the attack struck it squarely and jumped back at the depressed ground with a spin.

The impact behind that attack was, in few words, even comparable to Limey. No, that's not it. The punch definitely packed even more might than Limey's...Kujou thought.

(What the heck was that? Is my eyes playing a trick? How is...that even a technique of a student?)

A myriad of doubts immediately swirled inside Kujou's head like a whirlpool.

'Hold on Kujou, now isn't the time to decipher the mystery,' recalling that the doubts weren't something she could get answer now, Kujou swiftly pushed all the question to back of her mind and mustered her willpower to broke her body free from the shackles of fear.

It wasn't just her. Almost all the explorers around were finally starting to break from their frozen state at the same  time. The spell was no more.

On the other hand, Tenji turned around with a shaken appearance. The eyes of young man who had just shown an incredible power no less than Limey was tinged with a colour of panic as he said to Kujou with an indescribable expression---

"That guy is perhaps..................looking around for me."
