It muttered quietly. However it words failed to spur any meaning in the head of people present.
It was—no, should have been impossible. With the Orelia which could translate almost any language in the world, the language barrier had been long bypassed. In fact, you could dig deeper to the earth core and even then, perhaps you would be hard pressed to find an unregistered language.
Orelia could work on any language from super power nation to some small nation, an island country or even the minor tribes.
“Which means………it’s original words?”
In an apparent disbelief, Alex’s eyes turned wide like saucers. Alexander Adoffkart, the leader of Russia’s deadest guild, could only do that as blood spilled out from his gaping wound on stomach.
He had taken an impactful attack from that. He was leaning against the tree to support and recover some of stamina as the healer he brought along worked to heal him when that monster muttered these cryptic words.
It didn’t appear as if they were meant for someone there. Not when everyone—well almost—were down in a bad state, unable to fight anymore. Seemingly seeing no one bothering itself, it gently floats into the air before moving into the sky. Every movement, even the flying, was eerily quiet except the word that it uttered.
All that dominated the battlefield was nothing more than a stifling silence.
“What’s the deal with that…”
Alex shouted, however his expression was far from a frustrating one.
If one talks about his image, he was undoubtedly known as the tormentor, who would howl like a lion irrespective of others inconvenience when suffering from even a tiny loss, or even do something to embrace the fellow guild members.
Yet, the same person was now sporting a thorough refreshed expression. The healer, a fellow guild member, was skeptical about his content expression but the words that came out her mouth were of warning.
“Alex! Please don’t speak! You will worsen your injuries!”
“Cough, right.”
What even was the sharp eyes of our leader was watching…a question floats inside the healer's mind.
The healer didn’t know what was going inside his leader’s mind but not everyday came the chance where their leader was this quiet. She took advantage of this gap to focus on healing him without caring about the pain that Alex might be experiencing.
The healer’s calling was another unique case, where the pain goes hand-in-hand with the recovery effect. She could increase or decrease the recovery effect at will, but conversely, it would also bring in pain. But the healing effect was undoubtedly incomparable.
A full-power healing could easily bring in an intense spasm to a body, even affecting the internal organs, without anesthesia. Yet, Alex was just gazing upward, as if pain was a foreign concept, at that thing flying in the sky with a stony expression.
Soon, Alex found his wounds all healed.
“Alright, It’s enough for now, go and heal that old hag now. You remember where she was blown away, right?”
“Understood, and yes. I had recorded everything in my memory.”
“Very well. Now scoot off, you’re becoming eyesore.”
So Alex said in a harsh tone, but their group knew it was just how their leader acts when showing his kindness.
His clumsiness had often projected a wrong idea, but at the end of the day, he always had been more perceptive to surroundings than anyone and also the one who hated a meaningless sacrifice more than anyone else. Or else, the guild wouldn’t have been blessed with excellent members given his unsociability.
Pravirna was a guild with strong solidarity as was the vision of their leader.
The healer had just stood up following the order when a flame pillar, as if a signal to something, arose in the far distance.
‘We haven’t lost a capable head it seems,’ Alex murmured under his breath when he saw that.
“Go. Old hag is in that direction.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Guts, go with her. There's no way a small fry can make it there alone.”
“Understood, Leader. Take care,”
With that, the healer left with the male guild member, who was standing nearby, toward the direction of the flame pillar. They had already committed the location to their brain and immediately bolted that way wasting no time.
Alex sees off his guild member and then turns to glance at that which suddenly stopped in its movement.
Due to the angle, the monster’s body—displaying shades of white, amber and orange—appeared one with the moon in the sky. The phenomenon brought in an indescribable color scheme whose mere view induced an intense chill in him.
Alex stared at that chilling scene while pressing on the button installed only on the captain-class Orelia model.
A buzz sound, like the static noise, comes off before his Orelia connects with each explorer’s Orelia fighting on the floor. He announced in a cool voice.
“Chief Monster subjugation is impossible. I repeat. Chief Monster subjugation is impossible. You hear me, Old hag’s secretary? I believe you have seen that. The havoc, the destruction it beholds. Implement the last-ditch plan right away. Meanwhile I will somehow bring us the time until then.”
The instant these words passed to each explorer, the battleground saw a change in their strategy. It was the signal to push the button on the last-ditch plan loaded into the Orelia which would turn Mallorca the final bastion.
Last-ditch plan—it was the plan formulated in case a monster appeared which couldn’t be subjugated, an announcement ‘instructing every citizen to retreat from here immediately’ would be issued out.
The captain-class individuals had been granted the authority to push on it.
“This is Illonica. Copy that.”
Illonica’s voice, quietly smoldering into rage, passed through the Orelia.

“Yo, good morning!”
Someone said on the rooftop of a skyscraper. A creepy smile spread across the speaker’s face as they looked down at the expanding city of humans.
“Hn? You ask who am…I? Oh, right...…”
A strange laughter followed with a light tapping on the chin.
The said being groaned slightly, contemplating on how to explain, before suddenly increasing the voice of their tone as if they came up with a good idea. They laughed because it was the long-awaited, delightful birthday party time.
“Happy birthday……my friend. Welcome to the world. Must I say, we shared the same ideology, yes? Oh, and your speech does need work. Alright, this self shall teach you, and why not learn human language when you’re in this world? It’s awfully convenient to held a medium you know?”
