Even after that, Tenji hurled a few more questions at Limey.

According to her, other zero-grade explorers also had lost a portion of their emotions apparently, just like her. Well, that said, while they had lost them, it hadn't left them with a complete blank slate however.

To begin with, they were missing the emotions now doesn't mean it was the same in the past. Any old scar or faint memory often turned into a momentary window to peek at how it was like when they still had those emotions.

For example, the zero-grade explorer Leon Hyakuse had lost his 'sexual desires.' However, he could still remember those worldly desires whenever he looked at his ex-gf Harume Mamiko. Aside from him, others have lost 'Love', 'Sleepiness' or 'Appetite.'

Also, this phenomenon had yet to take place for Fuyuki-kun, but even that was just a moment of time according to Limey.

"See you later then. There are still heaps of things to handle."

It seemed like Limey meant to treat it as a short break but ended up rolling in Tenji's suggestion.

It was truly unexpected news. But looking at Limey wrapping her hand around herself feeling the chilly wind of night, Tenji couldn't help but think she looked no more than an aged old lady.

"I'm sorry to keep you here for too long at night......"

"Don't fret over it. It was just my desire to have a talk with you as well."

Limey answered while flashing a spirited laugh, and then got up to return to her tent. But, She had just stood up when the sound of something snapping echoed from Limey's belt, and Tenji reflexively turned in her direction.

"You dropped that, President Limey."

It was a dagger that she had dropped. It seemed like the leather part that had tied it to the belt snapped. Tenji quickly picked it up and handed it to Limey.

"Oh dear, thank you. I guess it was also at its limit......I will have to ask Illonica for a new replacement."

Limey hugged that dagger into her arms so carefully like she was cradling a child and returned to her tent. Tenji saw her leaving and then sat down on the cliff once again as he pondered about his recent finding.

"Unbalance......Missing. Would I also turn into something like that?"

"It doesn't sound any better," Tenji thought. However, right in that moment. Tenji's world was dyed into pure white. A sudden, intense series of white light was chasing away the darkness.

Thump Thump

The huge black cocoon was releasing rays of white light. White light---the people may have seen things in a multitude of colours when facing such a phenomenon, but not the white.

It was all a sudden happening, but none looked flustered..

"---Hatching Sign Confirmed! I repeat, we have confirmed hatching sign!"

The loud yet deep voice travelled far and wide in the small floor.
