Chapter 59: Searching For Materials

THUD!

Once again, both of them were lying on the ground, one exhausted and dried up, the other filled to the brim, her body still reeling from the intense action that had just ravaged her.

TICK!

TICK!

Her pussy was leaking an insane amount of white stuff, a sticky residue that trickled down her soft thighs as she lay there, unconscious.

Lyra’s mouth was similarly filled, a mixture of saliva and his white juice dripping from her lips.

Meanwhile, the one responsible for all of this sat on the ground as he gazed out at the river before him.

But he didn’t look like others would expect from someone who had just pounded a drop-dead gorgeous girl until she passed out.

There was no smirk on his face, no look of satisfaction or triumph.

’Damn it, I really can’t control myself when she starts releasing those pheromones,’

There was no love, no feelings, just the overwhelming desire to fuck her, to claim her as his own. It was as if his brain had been hijacked by his libido.

At this rate, he was the one being taken advantage of, and not the other way around.

And if anyone said that was impossible because he was a man, they could fuck themselves.

Yes, he enjoyed it, but becoming a horny animal with no control over his desires was not exactly enticing in the long run.

Life was so much more.

’It’s also my fault. I also miscalculated.’

Neo clicked his tongue in annoyance as he realized his mistake.

He assumed that Lyra’s pheromones would only be released rarely, similar to those of animals that only go into heat once a year or every few months.

’I need to some time to think,’

He shook his head, trying to cool his head, and gently carried her to the nearby river to clean her.

It was the least he could do after what happened

After he finished cleaning her, he gently placed her on the grassy land, making sure she was comfortable.

Now, with her taken care of, he turned his attention to himself.

The cool water of the river beckoned, and he dove in with a sense of relief, letting the gentle current wash away the sweat.

’I got to find another way to be immune to her,’

This was getting more and more out of hand, and he couldn’t keep letting himself be controlled by his bottom head.

’Maybe if I get stronger, I will naturally have more resistance?’ he added, a glimmer of hope rising up in his mind.

He spent a couple more minutes in the water before emerging, and as he stepped out onto the grassy bank, he saw her looking guilty, her eyes cast downward in a mixture of shame and regret

She was now wearing her latex suit under her clothing, a familiar sight that filled Neo with a sense of deja vu.

Just like last time, she tried to hide her awkwardness behind a mask of having no emotion, but he knew better.

He already saw the way she smiled wildly when he was railing her deep from all her holes.

’So, the same routine again,’

Neo didn’t bother to try to talk to her or ask her what was going on. He wasn’t here as a psychiatrist to help her through her issues.

"Let’s head to the nearest town," he suggested. "We’ll follow the river, and just like last time, you lead."

"And be careful with traps." he added.

Her expression didn’t change, but she nodded slightly, her eyes flicking towards the river before returning to him.

But just as they were beginning to move, a loud sound on the river caught their attention.

"Boats," he exclaimed, his voice low and urgent

He quickly grabbed his clothing and motioned for her to follow him as he darted towards the underbrush.

Sound of engines grew louder, and soon a collection of boats came into view, chugging along the stream with a trail of foam behind them.

The boats that came into view were not the normal, run-of-the-mill vessels.

They were heavily modified, with a plethora of military equipment installed on them

Fortunately, they went as quickly as they came, disappearing around a bend in the waterway and leaving them to breathe a sigh of relief.

"We need to be more careful the closer we get to the town. And remember, don’t engage before I order."

He glanced at Lyra, his eyes meeting hers in a brief, intense moment of understanding.

Slowly, they reached the border of the town. The air was thick with the smell of saltwater, and fuel.

The pier alone had at least 30 structures, a mix of warehouses, docks, and what looked like military barracks.

He could see people moving about, some in uniform, others in civilian clothing.

It was easy to see that this place acted like a hub, with the dock and warehouses serving as a central location for receiving and distributing supplies.

Whatever goods they received from the outside world were likely transferred through smaller boats and then delivered here, where they would be stored and sorted before being distributed to the rest of the island.

As he continued to scan the pier, he noticed that the number of mercenaries here was significantly higher.

But what really caught his attention was the equipment they were using.

They were all wearing advanced headgear that covered their eyes like sunglasses, but without any division between the lenses.

The headgear seemed to be some kind of advanced visor, possibly with built-in displays or augmented reality capabilities.

In addition, the body armor worn by the mercenaries looked heavy and bulky. But despite its appearance, it didn’t seem to slow them down.

"Is there anyone dangerous among them?" he inquired.

She sniffed the air, frowning as the river’s scent interfered with her senses.

After a moment, she tried harder, narrowing her focus.

"There’s one... but not as dangerous as the person we saw before,"

"Good," Neo was satisfied. He was pleased that they had found another Awakener. "Okay, where is our target?"

"I don’t know," she responded, her nose wrinkled in concentration.

"The smell was faint, but I’m sure he’s inside the town. If we cross it, I will be able to smell better."

"He?" Neo raised an eyebrow, surprised that she could determine the gender of the Awakener just from the scent. "You could tell the gender?"

Lyra nodded casually, as if it was no big deal. "Yeah."

Neo’s eyes widened in amazement. "Wow, your nose is really something else,"

"It’s just what I’m used to," she replied nonchalantly.

Neo chuckled, shaking his head in amusement as he thought about her incredible sense of smell.

It was a power in its own right, and he couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for her abilities.

And at the same time, he craved it.

He wondered if getting more of her limbs would let her access more of her powers—but he shut down that dangerous thought.

There were other ways to grow stronger. No need to treat her like some kind of snack.

’I have to focus on more important things.’

His eyes narrowed as he gazed out at the river: finding a way to cross it undetected.

He scanned the pier first, taking in the structure and layout of the docks.

As he watched, a boat chugged along the river, its wake rippling out across the water.

His gaze followed its path, his eyes tracing the line of the pier as it stretched out into the river. And then, he noticed something.

The place was elevated a bit. It hadn’t been that noticeable before, since it barely stood above the surface—but he guessed there was hollow space hidden behind those walls.

He turned to Lyra.

"I think I’ve found a way," he gestured towards the pier. "If we can swim under it, we might be able to get across without being detected."

She just nodded.

Neo’s voice was low and steady as he explained the plan to Lyra. "We will transform first into our tiger form, and then dive down,"

"Next, we will use the rocks at the bottom of the river to crawl along, so we don’t create too much of a disturbance on the surface."

"Got it,"

With the plan in mind, they transformed and dove into the water.

Thanks to their inhumane strength, they were able to crawl quickly underwater, passing by boats and other obstacles with ease.

As they swam deeper into the river, the water pressure increased, but they didn’t feel any discomfort.

In no time, they reached their destination and surfaced under it, their eyes adjusting to the darkness.

"Look there, I see a light passing through that part," he pointed.

As they swam towards it, they discovered a small square opening with metal bars on it, and on top, they could see a ceiling.

"Push it a bit, but don’t completely destroy it," he ordered.
