Chapter 965: Vale’s Whereabouts
Chad went silent for a moment as his expectations about his visit here were completely different...
This Chaos Immortal seemed to only want to have a peaceful territory and not be hunted. Although he couldn’t just trust his words, he had at least not seen any Chaos Arts Practitioners causing a huge trouble just yet.
They might really have a plan to do so, but it might be for the future. For now, he wasn’t sure whether to just start fighting and capture them.
Finally, Chad spoke after a moment of thought... "Well, I’m only instructed to assist here. Not to hunt Chaos Immortals... But let me tell you this, even if you’re planning to do something, the Shadow Immortal won’t let you turn this realm into a Chaos stronghold. Since you’ve been accepted by the Will of the Realm, you might still have a chance..."
Gyn’s gaze didn’t waver. "The Shadow Immortal is not our enemy. It’s the Council of the Twelve Paths that turned against us. They wanted us to leave this realm... So if he stands in our way..."
Gyn said as he let the threat hang.
Chad’s muscles tensed, ready to attack—but Gyn suddenly stood, tossing coins on the bar.
"Tell your Shadow Immortal this," he said as he stood closer to Chad. "We’re not the monsters he thinks we are. But we will be if that’s what it takes to live free."
With that, Gyn strode out as the door swung shut behind him.
To be honest, Gyn wasn’t confident in winning against the Immortals of the Realm right now. After all, the portal to connect 300 more Chaos Immortals from the Expanse wasn’t completed yet. They needed a bit more time.
However, Gyn couldn’t show weakness now or they would be devoured.
He could only hope that the Shadow Immortal would wait for a few more weeks or months...
This was why they had to watch their actions for now and avoid any conflict or any actions that would paint their faction as something bad...

In the meantime, while Vale’s Avatars were managing the Shadow Domain’s matter, his original body was doing something else.
At the highest chamber of the Dark Arts Tower, a strong wave of Shadow Divinity could be felt.
At the center of the room, a circular formation array had been painstakingly carved into the floor...
There were intricate lines filled with ink-like substance on it... Most of it was from the blood of a Dimensional Creature.
During this time, Vale stood at the center of the ritual circle, his young adult Dimensional Creature had transformed into a smaller size and was now perched on his shoulder.
"Ready?" Vale murmured. It had been a long time since he had decided to change his plans and not visit the Shadow Realm...
He could still remember that time when he entered Constance’s Mystic Tower, he met someone from the Shadow Realm in that place and invited him to even enter the Shadow Realm.
At that time, however, he had decided to refuse.
But this time, Vale needed the Shadow Realm’s help in order to further advance. His lone research and or his reliance on his Divine Extraction System must be stopped.
Soon, the Dimensional creature let out a low growl... It seemed that it was also excited to leave.
"Let’s do this..." Vale muttered as he started the Ritual of Passage... Since the Realm was still sealed by the Timeless King, he needed to use the Dark Arts Tower to avoid detection and bypass the seal.
Just like that, Vale recited the chant in order to open a path to the Shadow Realm.
Well, it was something he learned from Wasa, the leader of the Time Manipulators who had previously entered this realm, and now, they had become his subordinates.
After the prayer was made, his Dimensional Creature extended a single claw, slicing open its own palm.
Soon, a single drop of black blood fell onto the formations, and the ground finally reacted.
It happened so swiftly as the air in front of him ripped apart, revealing a swirling vortex of pure darkness...
Vale also noticed that the edges of the portal crackled with violet energy, the barrier between realms was straining against the intrusion.
He had to move quickly.
Vale no longer hesitated as he stepped through.
Whooosh~
The first thing Vale felt was the weight—the crushing, suffocating pressure of a realm where darkness had mass. This was a very different sensation when he had entered the Abyss Realm.
Nonetheless, the weird sensation just lasted for a moment.
After taking a breath of fresh air, he finally gathered himself.
However, it was at this time that Vale felt hungry.
As an Immortal, Vale doesn’t really get hungry anymore as he uses Divinity and other sources of energy to survive. However, it was quite interesting that he suddenly felt hungry now.
In the meantime, his Dimensional Creature was excited as soon as it entered a new realm. It even started eating the ambient energy to get hold of the situation.
"This place looks beautiful, doesn’t it?" Vale asked his pet.
Apparently, despite the realm being called Shadow Realm, it was actually quite a bright place. It felt just like a normal human realm with more powerful figures.
In any case, Vale had arrived in a huge prairie, and he wasn’t sure where to go. He wanted to follow some signs in life, but soon, a presence approached them.
"Halt."
A figure appeared in front of Vale. He was taller than most humans and clad in armor forged from solidified voidstone.
He was most likely the Overseer of this realm.
His face was human—or had been, once. Now it was a shifting mask of shadows. It was definitely a tarrying face right now.
"Visitor..." the Overseer spoke as he gestured for Vale to stop.
"What brought you here?" He asked...
Vale’s Dimensional Creature then hissed, but he raised a hand to calm it.
"I’ve come to train," Vale answered.
It was definitely the truth. He just didn’t know what kind of training he should find here.
