His lips crashed into hers, rough and urgent, stealing the air from her lungs. The kiss wasn’t soft—it was a demand, a punishment, a confession. Her hands flew up to his chest, fingers curling into his shirt, but instead of pushing him away, she pulled him closer.

He tasted like fire and danger, like something forbidden she craved anyway. Her back arched into him, his other hand gripping her waist like he was afraid she’d disappear if he let go.

She moaned against his mouth—just once—and that was all it took for him to deepen the kiss. Tongues tangled. Teeth grazed. It was chaos and hunger and heat, and neither of them wanted to come up for air.

When he finally pulled back, his breath was rough against her cheek. His forehead pressed against hers, both of them panting.

"See, I told you, don’t provoke me."

Olivia’s once excited and wild face suddenly turned calm. Her once fiery golden eyes changed to the shade of green.

Olivia’s eyelashes fluttered. ’Where am I? Did I survive the monster’s attack? How?’ she thought inwardly.

Her blurry eyes became clearer, her eyes widened, almost bulging out. ’Lucian? Why am I seeing him?... Maybe I’m dreaming, but why is he in my dream?’ she smiled naughtily at the thought.

Lucian froze, ’Is the real Olivia back?’ he wondered. "Olivia?" His rich, velvety, hoarse voice warmly brushed against Olivia’s skin. His eyes gauged her reaction, but he was stunned by what he saw next. A pink hue crept up her face; his heart fluttered at the sight of it.

Olivia felt heat rising up her cheeks; she liked the way he called her name. When she looked at him again, she saw him smiling at her. He looked ethereal, almost like he was glowing in soft pink light.

Lucian’s brows arched, confusion smeared on his face. ’Is she okay? Why does it look like she has lost a nut?’ he wondered as he stared at her shy smiling face. Sometimes she chuckled in between. She looked cute, but he’d never imagined this side of her.

"Do you want me to kiss you?" he teasingly asked, testing the waters. If she was really Olivia, she would instantly say no...

Before he could finish his trail of thoughts, Olivia’s head shyly bobbed up and down. ’It’s a dream, there is nothing wrong with kissing him, hehehe,’ she thought.

Lucian was left speechless, ’She would kill me if she finds out about this,’ he thought before proceeding with kissing her. But this time he was gentle, his eyes fluttered closed as he deepened the kiss, his tongue intertwined with hers.

Olivia felt her skin tingling with warm sensation, her stomach fluttered with butterflies, her hand slowly crept up to his neck. His lips were soft, and they tasted good. For some weird reason, she wanted more. At that thought, warmth pooled at the bottom of her stomach.

Their erratic heartbeats matched the same pace, as if they were already one. Her leg curled around his.

The door suddenly flew wide open, gasps filled the air.

Their heads snapped to the door, their beautiful moment shattered. Olivia’s eyes widened, a frown formed between her brows. ’Klaus?.... He’s also in my dream? But he looks like he would burn the world right now. Why wouldn’t he let me have a good moment to myself?’ she thought inwardly, her lips pouted before glaring at him.

Her hand fell down to Lucian’s chest.

Klaus felt his heart stop for a moment. What was he seeing? Lucian on top of Olivia and they were both kissing. Olivia... his girlfriend. His throat tightened, veins popping out. His fist clenched, anger consuming him as if he was thrown into a volcano.

His eyes locked with Lucian’s, a sarcastic smirk formed on Lucian’s lips, his eyes daring him to come closer.

When the door was flung open, an irritated look smeared on Lucian’s face, but when he saw that the intruder was Klaus, a glint danced within his eyes.

For a moment, it was like the world had stopped. Different thoughts ran through their minds. For the first time, Klaus’s calm demeanour turned into one of fury. He stormed over to them.

Lucian swiftly stood up, his gaze turned sharp and cold. He had been waiting for this day for a very long time. A fist flew towards his face, but Lucian swiftly dodged it.

"You bastard!!!" Klaus’ nose flared.

But Lucian smiled at his plight; this only added fuel to Klaus’ anger.

Olivia was flabbergasted at the scene unfolding in front of her. She thought this only happened in movies from before the monster’s uprising. ’This should be a love triangle, right? That’s what it’s called,’ she nodded her head, her eyes following their movement. Klaus’s legs kicked towards Lucian, but Lucian easily deflected his attacks with his own kick.

’I really want popcorn. What a nice show,’ her head followed their movement—left, right, up, down.

Soon, her head was unable to follow their movement as they were too fast. The speed broke when Lucian’s fist connected to Klaus’s face, which sent Klaus flying, crashing against the wall.

Olivia’s eyes widened. Her smile vanished. ’Is that blood? That’s... real’ The warmth, his smell, the weight of Lucian’s body—it wasn’t a dream.

Reality slammed into her like a freight train.

She dashed to her feet, standing between them. "STOP!!" she yelled. She looked at both of them with disappointment. She never wanted anyone to fight for her, or get hurt because of her.

"How could you do this, Olivia? Cheating on me?" Klaus’ voice turned so cold that shivers ran down Olivia’s spine.

"Cheating? We aren’t in a relationship, Klaus. You better wake up," she snapped at him.

Lucian chuckled. "Who would have thought the famous Klaus Reyes was delusional about his relationship," he teased. His eyes flickered to Olivia’s face, dread creeping down his spine. ’Is the real Olivia back? Did she remember all we did together? She is even supporting me.’ With that thought, he sighed in relief, before continuing

"So you know, our moment before you interrupted was..."

Crack

Before Lucian could finish his words, Olivia’s fist connected to his face.
