The next day, Kenji and Haruka got up early, as today, Kenji had decided to slowly fufill the promises that he had made.

Today: They were heading off to the library in search of a clue about Haruka’s bloodline.

As Haruka was a Cloud Moon Fox without any access to her bloodline, she was basically very weak to a strong opponent.

And knowing that he was definitely going to fight bigger and stronger opponents in the future, along with groups like the Crimson veil cult, he needed everyone around him to be strong and at full potential, and that included Haruka.

He was hoping to also find out a thing or two about the crimson veil while on this adventure, as it was best to know your enemy right before they strike. He didn’t want to be caught off guard.

" Alright, we’re leaving little munchkins!" Kenji announced, as he gave the kids another big hug.

This was the fourth time he was hugging them today.

He felt really guilty for the fact that he had last them throughout yesterday and only arrived later at night. So now that he was leaving them again so soon, made his heart ache.

" Okay Daddy! Have fun!" Pheia said in a supporting manner, as if even pushing Kenji to leave already. It seemed she was already tired of his constant hugging sessions, and fear d that if this goes on, he was never going to leave.

" Yeah dad, don’t worry, we’ll be safe with Uncle Fubara here!" Leo said enthusiastically.

But Leia, unlike her siblings didn’t want Kenji to go, and so put on a sad puppy dog exppression, as she said," come back quickly daddy, you still have to tell me that snow white story,"

Seeing this, Kenji felt like melting right away, as her cuteness almost caught him and made him change his mind to stay.

But shaking his head resolutely, Kenji decided against it.

" Don’t worry baby, I’ll be back as fast as I can, and I promise to tell you all the princess stories in the world!" Kenji said, as the two embraced each other again.

Pheia, watching this rolled her eyes at her sister’s over clinginess towards daddy, it was a bit annoying to watch.

* Ugh! Daddy’s gonna drown us in hugs before he actually leaves* she thought, rolling her eyes again.

" Alright, alright, we get it, you’re one big and happy family! Now can you get going?" Fubara’s voice suddenly chipped in, causing Kenji to release Leia reluctantly.

He then stood up to face Fubara," are you sure you don’t want to go? The library’s a pretty fun place," Kenji said with a smile.

Fubara just firmly shook his head as he sat down onto the couch in a relaxing manner," nope. I think I’ll just do what I came here for: going for a holiday, chilling, relaxing, and avoiding the crimson veil," he said, as he took a sip of orange juice.

" Alright then, suit yourself," Kenji shrugged, as he turned around to face Haruka.

" Alright, let’s go!" He exclaimed, as he walked out of the door, with Haruka following closely behind.

" Alright, they’ve left," Fubara said, as he quickly got off of his seat and looked at the children with a wide smile.

" Yeah! Let’s do this!"

" Yessz!"

" Okay,"

The three siblings said with joy, mirroring Fubara’s exppression.

" Okay, remember, don’t tell your dad, alright?" Fubara exclaimed cautiously.

" Don’t worry uncle Fubara, my lips are shut!" Leo said with a smile.

" Yeah! Mine too, I won’t say a thing!" Pheia followed.

" Alright, I’ll try," Leia said with a little lack of confidence, as she wasn’t sure if she’ll be able to lie to her dad.

" Okay, let’s do this," he said, as he stepped forward. Then suddenly, a small pinkish portal appeared in the middle of the living room, slowly growing to the size of a small giraffe.

" Okay, let’s go, Fubara said, as he stepped into the portal, with the children happily following behind.

After leaving, Kenji had no idea as to what Fubara was up to with his kids, at the moment, he was seated on Haruka’s back, as try headed towards the library.

" Kenji, do you think that anything about my bloodline would actually be in a library?" Haruka wondered with doubt in her voice.

Although she trusted Kenji and was no longer in a rift with him, she was still a bit skeptical about there being any information about her tribes awakening ritual in a human library.

" Don’t worry Haruka, I know there has to be something in there about your bloodline, or else it wouldn’t be called a library. I mean it has everything! And even if it doesn’t, then don’t worry, at least we’ll be able to find a clue or two directing us towards your bloodline," Kenji said confidently.

Throughout his life, everytime he had entered into a library, he had always found what he needed, and so he trusted libraries like trusting his cooking skills, it was just impossible not to find anything at all.

After about ten more minutes, they finally arrived at the of a really huge and elegant building with beatiful markings and drawings around it.

At the top of the building, there were two words embedded with some kind of magical energy:

WISDOM ARCHIVE!

To arrive at this place was no easy task, as although Haruka was fast, she couldn’t just mindlessly run off to somewhere neither of them had been to before, so they had had to ask a few people for directions on their way here. But after all of that stressful endeavor, they had finally arrived at their destination.

" Alright, let’s go in," Kenji said, as he got off of her, and allowed her to transform I her human form.

" Okay, let’s go," said Haruka, as she calmly followed Kenji inside, though her heart was beating rapidly.

It was in this place that they were going to find out of there was any clues to her bloodline awakening. She really hoped there was.

As they arrived inside the library, the two were amazed by the fantasy like scene in front of them.

Books flapped their pages off of shelves and into the arms of the people in the library.

A huge dome like glass was at the top of the building, with the mystical tapestry of men and women holding onto books seemingly in deep concentration.

There were shelves of books floating off the ground, while others were stuck to the ground. The sheer sight of this place was both breathtaking and unbelievable.

Haruka was a bit suprised by what she saw. It was her first time of coming to a library, and a human on at that.

Since the moment Kenji was blabbering about how cool libraries were, she had envisioned a room with tons of boring shelves an books. But now, her eyes goggling at the whole place with sheer disbelief.

If she had known a library would be like this, then she too would have fallen in love with them.

* This Is amazing!* She thought to herself, almost drooling.

Kenji, just like Haruka was taken by suprise. He was expecting to see a library like the ones he would visit on Earth, not an Harry Potter kind of place.

* This place is straight out of a fantasy story!* Kenji exclaimed, as he drew a cold breath that seethed through his teeth.

" Cough! Cough!" There was a light coughing from behind them, and Immediately they were snapped out of their fantasies and turned around.

As they did so, they noticed a lady on glasses with Auburn hair. Her exppression brimming with joy, as the wide smile on her face could easily make the coldest of ice melt like butter on a pan.

" Yes, who are you?" Kenji asked with a tinge of annoyance. He hates getting disturbed while thinking or imagining, as if he would want to go back to it, he wouldn’t for some reason.

Not minding Kenji’s response, the lady pushed down her glasses a bit, allowing it to rest onto her nose," Hello, my name is Evelyn, and i’m the keeper of this library," Evelyn said, introducing herself, as she outstretched her hand in an attempt to shake him.

* Oh, so she’s the librarian here* Kenni said with a look of realization, as he shook her hand and let go a few seconds after.

" So what does a lib- keeper like you want with random people like us?" Kenji said, raising an eyebrow in questioning.

Evelyn only smiled at his question as she said," As the keeper of the library, everything that happens here is under my watch, so when I see two new faces, I of course had to approach you. You do not have an archive pass, do you?" She asked in a questioning tone.

Kenji shook his head. It seemed this world’s libraries also do library cards just like on Earth.

" Well then, it was good that I had approached you, or else you would have been cut into shreds if you cross that line," she exclaimed still with a smile, as she pointed at a big red line striding across the ground.

Hearing this, Kenni and Haruka felt like they had heard wrong.

" Did you just say cut into shreds?!"
