"Yes, his supposed true mate instilled the idea in him. Whenever I remember what he did after claiming to have loved me, I am terrified. It mostly happens when I get intimate with the man," she confessed, sighing in frustration.

"I am sorry you had to go through all of that," Theresa sympathized, tapping her hands worriedly.

Smiling, Aurora lied, "It’s been over five years, I am fine."

"If you were fine, you wouldn’t be having problems with this man. Why not confide in him? Maybe you could both overcome your phobia together," Theresa suggested.

"No, he actually wants a child from me. We are not emotionally close," Aurora quickly replied. "And he doesn’t care about my feelings, he is only after the child I am to conceive," she added.

Theresa could already imagine Damien’s attitude towards Aurora. He seemed oblivious to the emotional aspect of their relationship and would benefit from therapy just as much as Aurora did.

"Then let’s get him his child and help you find a suitable man," Theresa said, determined to assist her.

"Thanks," Aurora smiled. Damien was out of the question, as he didn’t seem emotionally involved.

She wondered how he would react if he knew about her past. Pushing that thought aside, she focused on Theresa.

"So you feel terrified when intimate with this man? I figured it out," Theresa smiled and made another note in her book.

"What’s my problem?" Aurora asked.

"You are afraid of being betrayed again. When you think about your past, you feel terrified and in trouble," Theresa disclosed, starting to pace.

Aurora thought about it, and Theresa was right. She took her breeder’s contract with Damien personally, and it made her anxious and fearful about being intimate.

"Yes, I can’t help it," Aurora muttered, playing with her fingers, looking hopeless.

"No need to worry. And, to be frank, I know you are in a breeder’s contract with Damien. I’d prefer we be honest with each other for better improvement," Theresa revealed, causing Aurora to widen her eyes in surprise.

She smiled nervously and covered her mouth in shock. "How did you know?" She asked.

"Well, it’s only normal that I know, given how desperate I am for a grandchild. I was going to assist you when you got pregnant, but you came to me first. It’s all settled," Theresa revealed, making Aurora realize that he didn’t keep it a secret from everyone completely. Could Enoch also be aware?

Theresa noticed Aurora’s reaction and wondered if she didn’t like the fact that she knew about it.

"What’s wrong?" She inquired.

"Nothing, I am fine," Aurora smiled, trying to hide her concern.

"If you say so. Now that we know the problem, we can proceed to the next stage." Handing over her book to her handmaiden, she received a tablet from her.

"This is one way of learning everything," Theresa said, stretching her hands toward Aurora, gesturing at a picture in the tablet that made Aurora gasp in shock. Theresa had shown her naked pictures of both genders.

"What are you doing?" Aurora asked, inching backward, her eyes wide with shock. She had never seen anyone like Theresa before, and she wondered how she was able to raise Damien and Dave with such behavior.

Theresa chuckled at how cute Aurora was, embarrassed by a naked picture. Aurora was indeed clueless about certain things.

Tutting, Theresa teased, "You are too innocent for your age. I had Damien when I was 17 years old. You should find a man before you grow old."

"I... I was rejected by my mate. I would die lonely," Aurora said, dropping her head sadly, making Theresa ache for her. Now she understood why Aurora was so uptight and bold when she first arrived at the mansion. Life had been unfair to her, and she had to be strong to survive.

"I promised to find you a man, so I will help you find a mateless wolf once you conceive," Theresa assured her.

Aurora shook her head and said, "Actually, I would love to leave the pack once I conceive. I don’t belong here." She couldn’t rest until she avenged her parents’ deaths.

"Why? You do belong here! You would have more power if you gave birth to Damien’s heir," Theresa tried to convince her to stay. She wasn’t sure if her son cherished Aurora, but she knew Damien wouldn’t dismiss her once she conceived.

"About that, I don’t want to have anything to do with an Alpha," Aurora quickly disclosed, not wanting to have any position beside an Alpha again. Lucas had shown her enough, and she wouldn’t go through it again.

Just then, a maid came rushing into the garden in a panicked manner. Approaching Theresa’s handmaiden, she whispered something into her ear, making the handmaiden gasp in surprise.

"What is it?" Annoyed by the sudden interruption, Theresa asked.

Moving closer to her, the handmaiden dismissed the maid and whispered something into Theresa’s ear.

"What fiancee? Where did..." Theresa trailed off when she realized who her handmaiden was talking about. Damien’s arranged wife was in the mansion with her family.

"Oh my, wasn’t she supposed to arrive tomorrow morning?" Theresa asked, recalling that the elders said she was arriving in two days. Tomorrow was supposed to be the second day, so how come she was here already?

"Should I go and ask?" The handmaiden suggested, not having an answer to Theresa’s question.

"You are useless, forget it!" Theresa yelled at the handmaiden, glaring at her. The handmaiden stepped back, not willing to be scolded by Theresa. She sometimes asked questions with no answers and would get angry when she didn’t receive any.

"Let’s stop here for today." Packing up her things, Theresa suggested and started walking away. But Aurora, who had only heard Theresa say ’Fiancee,’ stopped her, wanting more information.

"Why? Is something wrong?" Aurora asked.

"Oh, Damien’s fiancee is here. The one the Elders arranged for him. I was called for," Theresa quickly explained and rushed off, leaving the bewildered Aurora behind.

Aurora sighed in fear, wondering if hell was waiting for her the moment Damien’s fiancee settled in.

Would his fiancee accept a sexual partner beside her man? Different thoughts and questions swirled in her mind, and the sound of her stomach growling woke her up.

Deciding to eat something before devising a plan, Aurora headed to find some food.
