Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night -
Chapter 187: Absolutely mine
Chapter 187: Absolutely mine
"I need you to calm down for Selena’s sake, you might be carrying a child and I won’t be the cause of its death." Raising her hands in a manner to soothe, Scarlet made comforting sounds and watched as Aurora calmed.
"I am worried, Scarlet. Lucas is an arrogant bastard who would kill his own to achieve his mission. Though I was too in love to realize his wrongdoings then," holding Scarlet’s hand, she revealed, staring deep into her eyes for answers.
"Can you promise not to storm out of this room if I tell you everything?" Finally making up her mind, Scarlet held her shoulders and inquired.
Not wanting to compromise herself, Aurora answered with a nod, and Scarlet, who trusted her, didn’t think much of it before divulging, "Lucas demands you and is currently at our border with his men." Causing Aurora to widen her eyes in shock.
"But...he rejected me and we no longer share a bond? Why would he shamelessly do that?" Staring out of her window, she muttered, finding a justifiable reason for his actions.
After the pain, the torment, and the torture he made her go through, he still wants to reclaim her. If she could, she would storm the border and deceive her way into his chest for a stab. He didn’t deserve to live, he was a miserable person that she hoped died a miserable death.
"I will kill him myself," gritting her teeth, she swore and got out of bed, ready to walk out of the door only to be stopped by Scarlet.
"Remember you promised not to leave this room?" Stretching out her hands, Scarlet reminded, raising her eyebrows at her in a questionable way.
"I am sorry but I lied. You can’t expect me to be calm when the man I love is in danger and I am the reason?" She stated, hitting her chest to express how frustrated she was.
If Scarlet was in her shoes, she was certain she would do worse with her temper. She would appreciate it if Scarlet didn’t stop her or she might have to force her way out.
"But..." Scarlet said, dropping her head to contemplate the matter before adding, "You are right, it would be unwise of you to stay here. But I will be your guard, deal or no deal?" Finally agreeing with Aurora and struck a deal.
"Deal," Aurora couldn’t be any more selfish and immediately agreed.
"Wait, let’s get you a jacket, you might not be able to come back for it." Scarlet urged and Aurora nodded her head in response.
A few minutes later, they left Aurora’s room to find Damien and luckily for them, he was just entering the pack house and looked irritated.
"Damien," out of concern, she called and ran up to him only to fall into his hands.
"What are you doing out here?" Picking her up, he questioned and traced his gaze to Scarlet who shrugged at him, like she had no decision in it.
"You know your mate, don’t take it out on me." Rolling her eyes, she said and left them.
"Don’t, I forced my way out, she had no part in it. Tell me, what’s Lucas saying?" Going straight to the point, she inquired.
"He wants you," probably aware that Scarlet must have informed her, he spoke the truth.
"And what was your response?" Though she could already predict what it was, she was more concerned about him choosing war.
"What do you think? That I was going to let you go?" Sarcastically, he answered and busted into laughter, earning him a smack on his arm from Aurora. They were already halfway to his room.
"You know what I meant?" Glaring at him, she said and he sighed.
"Even if I die, I would still not let you go. Don’t even think about convincing me to accept your ex’s terms." He said, a visible anger pulsating through his veins.
"I would never let you go either, what I am talking about is war." Damien halted the moment she landed and stared into her eyes, a new admiration sprouting out of his heart for her. Here he was, assuming she was going to accept Lucas’s terms and agree to abandon him.
"Why?" Opening the door to his room, he questioned, both stunned and excited.
"Put me down first," she demanded and he did as she wanted, putting her on the desk in front of the dressing mirror.
"Lucas is a selfish being and in as much as I would have accepted his terms, it would only be to kill his mother and him. But..." she started, looking down at her hands when she got to a point.
Curious, Damien held her chin and raised her head to ask, "But what?" Hoping it was the same reason he imagined.
"I want to be the mother of your children, the thought of being away from you drives me nuts. I can’t imagine an hour without you, talk more of days. I would have never imagined feeling this way five years ago but the moment my mission is carried out, I would lose you forever. I am in..." cutting her off, Damien seized her lips and carried her up.
Sucking, biting, and licking her lips, Damien devolved deeper into her mouth, claiming all the breaths she had left in her. He never knew she cherished him this much, he thought she agreed to be his for his sake.
Yes, he could finally boast that Aurora loves him and it was strongly mutual. She was going to be his wife, the mother of his children, and the only woman he would ever love on earth.
Tracing his mouth to her ears, he gently bit it and licked the blood that came out, erupting a satisfied moan from Aurora.
"Da...mien. Take me now!!" Lost in pleasure, she tightly grabbed his arm and urged, her folds getting wet with each kiss he pestered on her skin.
"You have no idea how badly I want to tear off your clothes, Aurora." Sexily, he whispered into her ears and carried her to the bed.
Dropping her on it, he hovered over her and stared down at her, cherishing the one thing that brought life back into his cold heart. Blushing, Aurora covered her eyes and looked away, not wanting him to see the blush on her cheeks.
"You are absolutely mine."
