Aurora stopped moaning and turned her head slightly to look at him, thinking she had offended him.

"Are you okay?" Concerned, she asked but instead, he withdrew from her and picked her up in a princess style.

"We need to go now, we will continue later." Then he walked up to his closet and helped her with his clothes, before wearing something casual himself.

Once they were done, he picked her up and started walking toward the door, confusing her. Was he planning to walk her into the dining hall with her in his hands?

"I can walk," she said, hoping he would let her go.

"Of course you can, but I don’t want you to walk." Nonchalantly, he said and started walking. Inwardly, he loved that she was anxious about being carried this way in front of everyone, and it amused him. He knew Lucas was going to be there so he was trying to mark his boundaries. Lucas wasn’t the type to listen, and a harsh method was needed to make him submit.

"I...what of everyone?" Still uncomfortable, she asked, but he scoffed and asked, "Do you think I care?" Staring deep into her eyes, that made her gulp. He already knew why she was uncomfortable, just how much does he know about her already?

"You know everything?" She asked.

Instead of answering, he smiled at her and pinched her cheeks. "Should I act like I don’t?" And asked.

"No, I am just..." cutting her off, he completed her statement, "Shocked?" Then she nodded her head and looked away, feeling exposed to him. She suspected he knew most of her secrets, she just didn’t expect him to be so cool about it.

"Are you not angry?" Wanting to know if he was faking it, she inquired.

"Of course I am, but you are mine now. Nothing is ever going to change that so don’t you think of leaving me." Possessively, he claimed her, and it made Aurora feel safe for a reason. She was never going to leave him, not for a bastard like Lucas.

"And I know you want to avenge your parent’s death, can you trust me with it? I don’t want your hands stained, mine is already stained." Sincerely, he offered and she grew speechless. The joy she felt from being asked made her want to depend on him forever. He was completely different from how she met him in the beginning, was this the true side of him?

"But it is my fight, I don’t want to burden you." She refused, knowing fully well that both packs might be in danger if he fought for her. Damien would have to wage war against Lucas, and the two packs might be affected, which she didn’t want.

Lucas was her target, not innocent people, she would not forgive herself if many people died because of her.

"It is my fight now, I won’t let my mate fight alone. But we can work something out," he said and she smiled.

"What is it?" Inquiring.

"Oh my, we must have missed a lot." A voice that had been missing for days spoke, causing everyone to turn their attention to what the voice was referring to. It was Dave and he was now back with Louis, though it took them days to finally arrive.

"Louis," happy to see Louis, she called and Damien purposely put her down so she could walk up to him.

"Luna, how have you been?" From where he was sitting, Louis greeted and Aurora answered, "I am fine, what of you? Did you enjoy yourself?" Asking.

"Aye, you hurt my feelings with such words. Don’t you trust me to take care of this little brat?" Acting hurt, Dave said and winked at Louis which made Aurora burst into laughter. Directing her gaze, she saw Charlotte sitting beside her and was a little shocked to see her in the pack. It seemed like she was the reason for the delay in their arrival a few days back, and that meant Dave succeeded.

"Charlotte, welcome back. So happy to see you," truthfully, she said and Charlotte smiled at her.

"Thank you," expressing gratitude.

Damien was now standing beside Aurora, his gaze met with Lucas and he smirked at him before helping Aurora sit.

Lucas was irritated to see Aurora on Damien’s clothes, he could already guess Damien had taken her. Well, it doesn’t matter, he had his fair share of sleeping with women. As long as Aurora was finally his and bore his child, he was satisfied with it. ’I will show you how far I can go to get you back,’ directing his gaze to Aurora, he inwardly said and smiled meaningfully.

"Has our doctor confirmed the twins yet?" Facing Aurora, Dave asked, making her choke on what she was eating.

"Dave!" Pinching him, Charlotte scolded and widened her eyes at him to signal him to stop.

"Not yet, but soon. I am just sad our children would be welcomed by a shameless uncle." Unexpectedly, Damien said that made everyone gasp in shock. Damien was finally acknowledging her in public, he was finally treating her like his mate.

Seeing how blissful the atmosphere was, Theresa decided to talk, "I would start making arrangements for their room." Adding more spice to the discussion.

"Charlotte and I would get the baby’s luggage. Enoch can rest," Dave offered and smirked at Enoch.

"It is good to see you being responsible. Thanks," he taunted and continued eating.

"I hope Scarlet deals with you for me, bloody Beta," Dave said and Enoch turned stiff at the mention of his mate. She was the only one capable of handling him, he had been avoiding her these days because of her mood swings. He noticed that she had been wanting to tell him something, but would eventually avoid telling him.

Was she planning to travel or is she uncomfortable about something?

"Help him with the lists, we don’t want him getting adult sizes." Teasing, Damien instructed Enoch and the latter busted into laughter.

"What? I know a baby size," he retorted and the argument continued.

Seeing all of them talk about her unborn child made her heart swell, these people genuinely cared for her. Looking down at her tummy, she murmured, "Are you almost here?"
