"I will pass," she said shyly and looked away. Damien was depriving joy from her shyness and wanted to tease her more but he decided to wash her up before anything.

"How is the soreness?" Halting in what he was doing, he asked, his gaze solely on her. Aurora could feel the care in his gaze and she wished it was always like this. Right now, he looked like the only concern in his life was her.

She wanted to question his attitude at the beginning but she couldn’t blame him, everyone had their story. Seeing him pay so much attention to her was tempting her to spill everything about her plan. Maybe if she told him, he would help her and they might be able to live a happy life together.

"It is getting better," smiling, she answered.

"Don’t hesitate to let me know how you feel, we wouldn’t want you falling sick now." His tone was so sincere that she couldn’t help bursting into laughter, she was not getting used to this new behavior.

"What is funny?" Amused, he raised his brow questioningly at her, wondering what part of his sentence made her laugh.

"Nothing, it is just...you are different." Shaking her head, she explained and he smiled when he understood what she meant. They had a very rough beginning, so it was normal for her to be surprised at such little affection. Compared to how he was going to treat her, this was nothing. It was too late to change the past but he could promise to make the rest of her days the best.

"We started on the wrong foot but I am going to make it up to you. The future mother of my children wouldn’t lack anything, as long as I am alive." He promised and she grew speechless, her mouth parted in shock as she hadn’t expected such bold promise. Calling her the future mother of his children warmed her heart, and she wished to hug him.

"Thank you," controlling herself, she said and dropped her head.

"Hmm, is our Luna shy?" Teasing, he asked and bent his head to see her expression but she turned her head away, not wanting him to see the blush on her cheeks.

With a satisfied smile, Damien picked up the sponge and continued washing her. When he reached her thighs, he reduced his speed and started washing her gently. The feeling of being washed so gently made her lean against the bathtub to relish the feeling. The last time she received this type of care, was when she was preparing for her wedding in Alpha Lucas’s pack. The man who ruined her life but thanks to him, she might be able to be happy again.

Going down, he rubbed the sponge on the inner part of her thighs, his hands careful as he did so. He washed both sides of her thighs and picked one of her feet to wash. After washing the first feet, he dropped it and picked the other feet to wash, his gaze fixed on her as he washed it.

Once he was done washing her thoroughly, he picked her up from the bathtub and went to stand under the shower. Making her stand, he switched on the shower and started washing off the soap on her body with the water. Dropping his hands in her hair, he gave her a little massage, while her hands were securely wrapped around his waist for support.

"You are sore..." Knowing what he was about to refer to, she waved him off and said, "I am fine now. Besides, getting dressed is the easiest to do now, you have dealt with the hard part." Assuring him but he only grew more bothered.

"Are you sure?" He inquired, and she offered him an assuring smile before nodding her head.

Even though he was still concerned, he decided not to push it and said, "Alright, let me drop you first." Then he walked out of the bathroom and into the room before dropping her on the couch.

"I will be back," bending down, he planted a soft kiss on her forehead and relayed, then walked back into the bathroom.

Aurora couldn’t help smiling as she watched him go, he was so sweet, and she was proud to have him as her mate for the first time. Who knew he had this loving side to him? She wanted to explore more of him and see what type of goodness he carries in him.

Helping herself up, she yelped when she felt the sourness but it was only temporary and she could now move. Taking a step, she sighed in relief when she didn’t feel the sourness again, and walked up to Damien’s closet to wear one of his clothes.

Opening his wardrobe, she grew confused about what she could wear since everything looked so manly. After some minutes of pondering, she finally decided to wear one of his tops and a pair of shorts he had.

Picking them up, she looked for a belt to pair it with, before finally loosening her towel to wear them.
