Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night
Chapter 144: Inside of you

Chapter 144: Inside of you

"I think it’s more than special, it’s a sign that you possess greater skills compared to other werewolves." She said, which caused him to chuckle from amusement. He couldn’t believe she was saying those words, he would never in a million times expect it from her.

"I accept thy praises, my Queen." He teased, hauling out a laugh that made her blush in embarrassment. She hadn’t meant to flatter him, it just came out of amusement.

"Let’s get that contract done," when things got awkward, Damien raised down her gown and picked her up, going back to the desk.

He made her sit on his lap and this time around, she voiced out a protest, "I feel uncomfortable in this position, allow me to sit." Her voice was gentle and calm, a sign that glaring or yelling at him wouldn’t get her what she wanted, but would only worsen matters.

"Alright," to her surprise, he agreed and dropped her on the chair next to him.

Relieved, she sat comfortably in the chair and focused her gaze on her computer, ready to get the contract done with.

"So, like I said, it’s titled: Love and Freedom, the contract is divided into parts." He started turning serious, all traces of playfulness gone. She would have been convinced if he hadn’t just pestered kisses all over her face. This man was good at hiding his emotions, and she mustn’t fall into his trap.

"Two parts?" She repeated, curious to know what it entailed.

"Yes. Now let me tell you what you have to do while bound to the contract," he said, smiling seductively at her but she didn’t fall for the smile. Averting her gaze, "What are they?" She asked.

"As my future Luna, you have the duty of attending public events and private events, within or outside the country." He added, showing her a picture on the computer.

The picture depicted a banquet, where people were formally dressed and they seemed to be gathered for an important reason.

"This was a ceremony organized to welcome in their Luna, in the Clown Lovers pack....." The rest of his words went silent as soon as she heard the name of the pack. That was the pack that ruined her life, did Damien attend that ball?

And she didn’t remember being given such a flamboyant welcome into the pack, was this one for the new mate Lucas claimed to have? It was funny how he organized such a big party for his new mate, yet he claimed to have been hurt by her.

"Aurora!!" He called, noticing how she zoned off.

"Yes, I am sorry. Let’s move on," she said, breaking out of her thoughts. She noticed the doubt in Damien’s gaze, but she didn’t want to talk about what she was thinking so she quickly said something to distract him.

"I know what a formal banquet is like, let’s just move on to the important ones." She said.

"Then you are fine with standing in front of hundreds in a week for your ceremony?" He questioned and she almost burped, if she hadn’t controlled herself in time.

Welcome ceremony? Standing in front of hundreds? That was what she hated the most right now, crowds. She was no longer the confident girl she used to be before she met Lucas, she grew shy after being publicly humiliated by her mate, and hated the idea of having everyone’s attention on her.

No, what was worse, if the ceremony was for her, all attention would be on her so she can’t avoid them.

"Can we remove the ceremony? I don’t like attention," she pleaded.

"I figured that out, and that’s why you can make the rules. The ceremony is something we do every time a destined Luna is picked, Sarah’s own couldn’t hold because she wasn’t my true mate, it would be a slap to my face in front of outsiders." He explained and she nodded her head in understanding. Finding one’s true mate was the pride of an Alpha, it would be disgraceful if he celebrated a Luna that wasn’t his mate.

"So I can decide how I want the ceremony to be?" She asked, using his words to interpret her question.

"That’s right," he answered and she was a little bit relieved. Damien was true to his word, he made the arrangement and she was making the rule. Suddenly, she felt a spark of hope in the contract, she could gain her freedom if she played wisely.

"Before we continue, the purpose of the contract is for you to fall in love with me. Though it is hard to resist the urge to mate with you, I would wait. You have a month to fall in love with me, a month after your welcome ceremony. If truly you haven’t fallen in love with me, then I swear on my father’s grave to let you go." He explained, swearing in the process that made her heart skip a beat.

With disbelief, she asked, "Are you serious about this?"

"I am swearing, isn’t that enough proof for you?" He noted, smiling at her which only made her hate herself more. She was torturing him yet he wouldn’t let her go.

"How do I prove that I am not in love with you?" That question was very important, as she knew deep down that she was already in love with him. How would she prove that she wasn’t in love with him when she was?

"By rejecting me officially when I ask for your hand in marriage. If you still don’t want to be my Luna, I’d let you go." He answered, his voice, showing no hint of deception. If he was being true to her words when she was confident that she had won.

Now she needed something strong to seal the promise, she couldn’t easily trust him.

"Alright, let’s seal it with your blood." She said and he almost busted into laughter. Noticing his reaction, she asked, "What?" Annoyed.

"This is not the 70s, who still indulges in blood oaths?" He asked, shaking his head at her.

"Well, I need to be sure you won’t go back on your words. That’s the only way I can think of," she defended.

"A stamp and signature are sufficient, we also have laws here, just like in the human world. I would involve two trusted Elders in our contract. If I fail to fulfill my promise, they can help you by reminding me of the terms. You have nothing to worry about," he assured her, opening a blank page to begin printing out the contract.

"Okay," she agreed hesitantly, exhaling deeply. Alphas had their egos, and it would be shameless for him to go back on his words. But then again, Damien was the most shameless man she had ever met, she shouldn’t trust him easily.

"Secondly, you would help relieve me when I am in need," he said, and she swallowed hard, understanding what he meant.

"I am not experienced. You can get any woman for that," she admitted, unwilling to agree to something she couldn’t follow through on.

"Remember, you make the rules of the arrangements. You have no right to reject them," he reminded her, making her want to drag his ear again.

What rule could she make in that part? Oh wait, there is a rule.

"Alright, no sex. Anything beyond foreplays," she stated, and he tilted his head in thought.

"Hmmm, do you know how hard it is to resist being inside of you?" Leaning closer, he whispered into her ear, making her choke.

"You are being so shameless," she scolded, looking away from him.

"Trust me, this is nothing. It would get worse than this until we fully mate, and I mark you. I agree with your rule," leaning away, he said and chuckled, deriving joy from her reaction.

There was nothing more satisfying than seeing her blush or shy away. She even looked more enticing when she was angry. Everything about her attracted him, and he didn’t want to stop being shameless with her.

"What are the next arrangements?" She asked.

"Nothing much, just let me list them out for you," he replied.

1. My dinner would be served in my room, with the food cooked by your hands.

2. I select your outfits and have the right to stop you from wearing what I find inappropriate.

3. A five-step distance should be given to every man you meet.

4. You shall lay in my bed every night.

5. Do not keep secrets from me; I detest secrets.

6. Take care of Louis.

And that was how the listless arrangements went, taking up the whole time, none of them realizing that it was already so late.

The arrangements sounded fair to Aurora, except for the sixth one she didn’t quite understand why it had to be a part. She had noticed the care Damien had for the boy since she met him, she didn’t know it was this passionate.

"Why do I need to take care of Louis? He doesn’t seem like someone dependent," she pointed out, recalling how he always refused her help whenever she offered. And the boy was wary of her, she noticed it. He didn’t trust her yet, and she didn’t want to make things uncomfortable for him by forcing herself on him. What was more, he couldn’t even share a gaze with her.

"Yes, because of his dependent nature. He is only being stubborn, but he needs to be catered for," Damien replied.
