Alpha Damien's Breeder: The first night
Chapter 128: Duped by an old woman

Chapter 128: Duped by an old woman

Covering her up with a towel in the bathroom, he walked out of the bathroom to attend to the intruder. Opening the door, he was greeted with the face of a young girl, younger than the one at the reception, holding a bucket of warm water and clothes.

A red blush was all over her face as she gazed at his bare chest, "I am here to deliver these," smiling warmly, the girl relayed.

Remembering that he asked for them, he collected the clothes from her and allowed her in, "The bathroom is that way, do your job." He instructed her, and she immediately went to do what she was supposed to do.

Coming out of the bathroom, Damien noticed a blush on her face that made him almost roll his eyes. Kids nowadays know more than they were supposed to know.

"Hey buddy," stopping her, he walked up to her and bent to her height.

"Do you like what you see, huh?" He asked, making her widen her eyes in shock, as if she had been caught stealing candies.

"I swear, I didn’t look. Please don’t scold me," she began pleading, tears already coming out of her eyes which confused Damien. What part of his statement felt like he was going to scold her? Kids knew how to make someone look bad, but he wasn’t going to fall for that trap.

"I wouldn’t scold you, if you promise me one thing?" He bargained.

"What?" The little girl asked.

"Take very good care of that aunty until we leave, you understand what I mean?" Damien said.

"But sir...that would cost you a lot." The girl was smart enough and understood what he was hinting at, which amused him. Wasn’t she too smart for her age?

"Exactly. You always have to pay a big price for every mistake," Damien lectured. Since she thought he wanted to scold her, he could as well use the opportunity to get something from her.

He feared they might have to stay in the inn for a few days, and Aurora would need more things, as women always had needs.

"Okay....sir," with hesitation in her voice, she agreed.

"Good girl," he commented and patted her hair playfully, which made her smile. It seemed like she loved the gesture, and he did more of it before letting her go. He imagined having one of her with Aurora, and couldn’t help chuckling.

Going back into the bathroom, Aurora had already sunk herself in the warm water, her back leaning against the wall of the bathtub, as if she was waiting for someone, him.

Taking off the rest of his clothes, Damien entered the bathtub and wrapped his hand around her waist, bringing her closer to him.

He made her sit with her back against him, picking up the sponge and soap to scrub her.

Aurora leaned back, feeling comforted in the embrace, unaware of his presence in the bathtub.

"Silly thing," Damien said, chuckling. She was completely asleep, letting her guard down for him to prey on her. For someone who didn’t want him to bathe her, she sure was putting in effort.

He rubbed her gently, picking each of her arms to tend to them properly. As he scrubbed, she would moan at intervals, assuring him that he was doing it right.

Tracing his hand down, he felt the tiny fabric covering her core and tore it apart, jolting her up.

Holding onto him, she blushed when she saw him naked inside the bathtub with her. How come she didn’t notice his presence in the bathtub? Was her body so exhausted that it didn’t detect him?

"Awake now, huh?" He asked, resuming what he was about to do, by bringing her back against his chest to finish the job.

Whispering into her ears, he urged, "Now I need you to stay very still, it might tickle but hold onto me for support."

"What are you...." Before she could complete her statement, a finger touched her inner core, rubbing on it gently, causing her to fold her laps.

"Stay still and relax," he whispered, reminding her of the instructions.

"But, it feels so..."

"Sensitive?" He completed her sentence.

She nodded her head, embarrassed to complete the statement.

"I feel the same too, Aurora. You have no idea how much my heart yearns for yours, it’s so addicting. My body burns for your touch," whispering against her back, he confessed, holding her possessively in his hands.

His body yearned for her touch, love, and warmth and he knew he had to be patient to avoid scaring her. He knew she was still adamant about leaving the pack, so he needed to be gentle with her if he wanted to convince her to stay.

"I...I am cold," she was about to say something, but diverted her words elsewhere. She felt bad for him but this was the only way to ensure their future. He wouldn’t have to reject her because she had no wolf, and she wouldn’t have to be hurt because she was rejected.

"Okay," he replied, a hint of disappointment in his voice, that meant he expected more than the response she gave.

The bath lasted for some minutes and they were finally done. Damien was now cleaning her up with a towel, and rubbing oil on her body.

Aurora inwardly smiled at how tender he was taking care of her, why did he never show her this side of him?

Was he doing this to persuade her, or he was genuinely caring for her? She felt an immense headache from thinking about it, fear creeping to her mind.

"Now let’s get you to bed," he said, picking her up and walking out of the bathroom. Only a towel was hanging around his waist, and his hair was still wet.

He dropped her on the bed, and covered her up with the duvet before walking back into the bathroom. The bed was so relaxing that Aurora soon fell asleep.

Upon reentering the room, he discovered her peacefully asleep on the bed, his hand yearning to caress her face. His hair was now dry, the towel still secured around his waist.

Approaching the bed, he climbed in and nestled beside her, drawing her closer. His hand encircled her waist, turning her face toward him, her face nearly grazing his bare chest. She was so tempting, his wolf screamed to claim her.

Once settled, he gazed at her, reproaching himself for past foolishness. She was right there, yet he couldn’t truly see her. He acknowledged he didn’t deserve her, but he craved selfishly to possess her. He craved to finally make her his, and his alone.

She belonged to him, his mate, an undeniable truth. He resolved to disclose their mate bond, officially claiming her. Yet, a gnawing feeling hinted that she might not desire this union. Perhaps she yearned for freedom from him.

How could he make himself irresistible to her? This time, he needed Scarlet’s assistance, the one person intimately acquainted with her.

Speaking of Scarlet, he questioned whether Enoch had figured out his whereabouts.

Enoch was a skilled beta, if his calculations were right, he should be almost here or was already here. Now, he was going to have a hard time locating them.

Meanwhile, in the adjacent room to Damien’s and Aurora’s, two individuals engaged in a heated argument. One visibly more enraged than the other.

"I demand to see Aurora immediately!" Scarlet exclaimed, frustration etched across her face. Their venture into the witches’ realm had become a series of misfortunes.

Enoch had given the imposing guard at the gate with coins to lead them to the dark witches’ world, but an encounter with a mystical being resulted in an unintended fall into a river. They escaped the river only to find themselves in a scorching desert, pursued by food-starved birds.

Fortunately, a peculiar old woman in the desert offered assistance in exchange for an undisclosed favor from Enoch. Scarlet remained unaware of the terms, because Enoch refused to disclose it.

Eager to leave the desert, she didn’t pester him about the details. The old woman teleported them, only to be led to another place entirely which meant they were duped.

Fortunately, the current location was not as perilous, and the villagers proved friendly. However, Enoch forbade Scarlet from interacting with them, using the excuse of not trusting the witches to stop her. She also had no trust in the witches, but it was better than doing nothing.

He proposed to inquire about their destination from the witches, convincing her to wait behind, but came back unsuccessful. This fueled Scarlet’s anger.

"Scarlet, please calm down. We must remain composed to find her in time," Enoch implored, struggling to pacify her. Regret began to creep in as her incessant screams disrupted his focus. Dave would have suffered hell from her hands, if he left her behind.

"You don’t simply tell a woman to calm down," she countered, pacing the room with hands clutching her head.
