Chapter 164 164: Unforgiving Cardinals.

The car drove through the silent streets smoothly. Leo managed the speed and turns very carefully making sure that Fragrance doesn't suffer at all. The girl was laying in the back seat to ease her travel.

When they approached the south street club, many people appeared from the shadows and they formed neat queues. Leo got out of the car and helped Fragrance outside. The people had arranged for a wheelchair already, and Fragrance was taken inside the club.

The nurse frowned and Leo said, "If you promise me to keep your mouth shut about whatever you are about to see, I will give you one million yuan."

The nurse was shocked and Kyle said, "Don't doubt it. We can really give you the money, but if you try to step out of the line, we can take much more."

Kyle intimidated the lady a little. But the nurse came from the grassroots and she asked, "What are you even doing here?"

The people on the outside could see everything but the ones inside could not see anything. The young man took a deep breath as he looked at the burly man sitting inside the cube. He looked at Simon Silence who was standing there and said, "Get me a clean set of clothing."

Simon Silence nodded and said, "I will arrange for someone to deal with it right away."

Leo looked at Fragrance who was sitting stiffly in the wheelchair. He came around the chair, and crouched before her as he asked, "Will you tell me what he did to you?"

Fragrance opened her left eye wide, the upper right side of her face was covered in bandages, and the young lady said, "Big brother, don't do this to me."

Leo smiled and said softly, "My dear, do you remember what Dad used to say? To face fear, we have to look it back in the eye or it will manage to find a dark corner in our heart and hide there, waiting to come out and harm us."

Fragrance had a tear forming in her left eye and Leo wiped it as soon as it trickled down, and he said, "Trust me, when this is all over, you will be stronger, and I assure you, everything will be fine."

The young girl gulped and closed her eyes, seemingly contemplating her decision. Leo said, "If you tell me what he did to you, I will do the same to him."

These words caused Fragrance open her eye wide and she asked, "For real?"

Leo nodded and patted the back of her palm and said, "Wait for me here, and keep watching."

He took a pair of leather gloves and put them on before he said, "Open the cube, I am going inside."

The men knew that he was the supreme here, even Simon Silence wouldn't dare to say anything, also they all knew how dangerous Leo was, as he had trashed the place once in the past.

Leo walked over to the cube, inside a man sat with his arms and legs tied. As soon as Leo entered the cube the door was closed and everyone could see everything clearly. He also said, "I will give you a fair chance to win your freedom, if you can defeat me, I will let you walk out of here regardless of what you have done."

The man on the ground said, "For that you need to untie my arms and legs."

Leo nodded and replied, "Don't worry, I intended to do just that."

Both of them had no weapon on them, and Leo untied the man quickly before going back to stand on the side. The captive flexed his legs and arms before he stood up and looked at Leo, and asked, "Why are you taking the hard way to deal with me?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "After you defeat me, I will answer your questions, because for now, you are my captive."

His words caused the man to glare at him and the latter charged at Leo. Young Cardinal tilted his head and the incoming punch was met with a toughened glass wall which didn't break or shake at all. The burlyman grimaced, and Leo stuffed his knee in the man's stomach.

The impact pushed him back and before the man could even regain his balance Leo was upon him with fists that flashed like lightning. The dull impact sounds from inside the cage were audible to the people outside. It was a faint thump but it made their hearts shiver. Leo delivered around twenty to thirty punches on the person's face, and shoulder.

Every punch on the right side of his face was delivered with a higher force and it distorted his features, while his right arm hung from his shoulder slumping. Leo watched the man panting as he knelt on the ground and asked, "You might have gotten away with something like this had you done it to someone who is not my family. However, you screwed up, for laying a hand on my sister, death is perhaps your only salvation."

That said, he delivered a kick on his head and knocked the man out before leaving the cube. He said, "Don't feed him for seven days, but give him water, and disturb his sleep. I want him to suffer hell in this cube.

Those who dare to look at the Cardinals will suffer a fate worse than death."

After dropping those words, he led Fragrance to the first floor where Walder was waiting for them.
