A Transmigrated Princess's Guide To A Fluffy Royal Life!
Chapter 29: Let The Persuasion Wars End

Chapter 29: Let The Persuasion Wars End

She closed the journal, tracing the gold ink one last time. Her chest felt oddly light—like the decision had finally clicked into place.

’It’s definitely the one!’

Fluffy spun with quiet joy. "It’s got beaches for sun-lovers, ruins for poets, caves for sword-draggers, and dolphin coves for weirdos like Lance. Even the tide can’t argue with this choice."

Then her eyes narrowed. ’Can I pick it?’

Fluffy hesitated. "You can. But... you can’t say it came from me. System secrecy. You know the rules."

She nodded. ’Then I’ll say I found it in a journal. Which... is still technically true.’

"You little liar," Fluffy whispered with a proud sniffle.

She smiled, fingers curling around the parchment.

Azure Bay.

It wasn’t just the perfect mix.

It was homey. Soft. Magic without drama.

She stood slowly, rolled the page tight, and tied it with a simple lavender ribbon. Her ribbon. The one her mother tied in her hair the first night she woke in this new world.

Tomorrow, she’d call them all.

Tomorrow, she’d tell them about *her* choice.

’I’ll tell them tomorrow," she said. "I’ll call a meeting.’

"You’re sure?"

She nodded. ’I’m sure.’

Fluffy floated beside her shoulder, eyes wide. "Oh, this is going to be chaos."

Evelisse stood, regal despite her fluffy slippers and cookie-stained sleeves. She tucked the map back into the journal and slid it beneath her pillow like a secret treasure.

She looked out the window.

Moonlight brushed the horizon, casting silver waves across the sky.

And then she whispered into the soft candlelight:

"Let the persuasion wars end." Then she blew it out.

The candle’s flame vanished with a soft hiss, leaving the room awash in moonlight. Evelisse stood by the window, arms folded, scroll tucked under one arm like it was a royal decree. Maybe it was.

"Tomorrow," she whispered, staring into the dark garden beyond her window, "they’ll know."

Fluffy yawned from the canopy above her bed. "Hope you’re ready for battle part two: the skeptical prince edition."

’I’ll be fine,’ she thought, pressing the scroll tighter to her chest. ’It’s the truth that matters. Even if it’s not the whole truth.’

Morning light had not yet touched the towers of the royal palace, but Evelisse was already awake, her tiny hands smoothing out the ribbon she’d tied around the scroll. The scroll. The one that would change everything.

She stood on her tiptoes and rang the bell.

One by one, the brothers filtered into the sunroom she’d claimed as her "decision chamber." Their hair tousled, pajamas wrinkled, and expressions bleary—except Lucien, who looked like he’d slept with one eye open and woke suspicious.

"I thank you all for coming," Evelisse began, chin lifted just slightly, her voice sweet but serious. "I have reached a decision."

Callum leaned in, eyes glittering. "Is it my glitter grotto?"

"No," she said gently.

Felix adjusted his sleeves. "The pastel manor?"

She shook her head.

Lance groaned dramatically and slid off the armrest he’d claimed. "If it’s not my mountain fortress with the snack closet, I’m going to faint."

"It is neither a mountain," Evelisse said, unfolding the scroll, "nor a snack closet."

She turned the scroll, revealing her choice: AzureBay.

Jaws dropped.

"A beach?" Leo blinked.

"Wait... where is that?" Felix asked, eyes narrowing.

"It’s not on the official maps," Jared added, already peering closer. "Did you... make this up?"

Evelisse kept her tone calm. "I found it in an old journal while browsing the archives."

Fluffy floated behind her with a smug little hum. ’Smooth.’

Jared leaned forward. "Does it have dolphins?"

"Yes."

"Moonflowers?"

"Yes."

"Pink mist?"

"Yes."

"Do the dolphins swim through the pink mist?"

’What the fuck are you saying, brother Lance?!’ Evelisse internally cringed, but hid it with a smile.

"Yes," she said confidently, even if that part was more Fluffy’s poetic addition.

Leo pumped a fist. "I vote yes!"

Felix nodded. "It sounds peaceful. Inspiring, even."

"I’m down," Lance mumbled, stretching. "As long as I don’t have to pack."

Callum beamed. "It sounds magical!"

Jared performed an exaggerated bow. "I bow to your exquisite taste, sister of mine."

Marcus said nothing, only nodded once with that unreadable half-smile.

"Azure Bay," she continued, "is a quiet place near the coast. There are dolphins, cliffs, a moonflower castle ruin, and soft sea air. It’s calm and safe, but full of beauty and possibility."

But Lucien... narrowed his eyes.

"You just found that? In a random journal?"

Evelisse blinked. "Yes, Brother Lucien."

He stared at her like he was reading invisible footnotes across her forehead.

The silence stretched.

Then Evelisse did what she had to.

She smiled.

Blinked slowly.

And tilted her head with the tiniest pout.

She added a tiny hiccup for good measure. "I-I just thought it was... pretty... and everyone’s ideas could be happy there..."

Marcus coughed—probably to hide a laugh.

Lance grinned. "I don’t even care. If it’s got dolphins, I’m in."

Callum nodded. "The cliffs sound dreamy."

Leo pointed. "Moonflower ruins? YES."

Jared sighed happily. "And the mist! I bet I could write a whole album just sitting there."

Felix leaned back, arms folded. "...It does sound scenic."

Lucien finally said, "Hm."

Which, in Lucien-speak, meant: Accepted but under surveillance.

"I vote Azure Bay," Evelisse said, hand raised.

One by one, each brother raised their hand.

Even Lucien—though he raised it like it might personally insult him.

Marcus raised both hands. "Double vote for taste."

Evelisse beamed. "Then I shall go change into appropriate attire. We are to meet our parents in their morning practice session, are we not?"

"Right!" Leo jumped up. "Royal yoga!"

"Wait, we’re all going?" Callum asked.

Jared stood, stretching. "You think Father would accept our proposal if we weren’t in sync?"

Felix muttered, "He’s going to make us plank through negotiations again, isn’t he?"

"Ten minutes," Marcus said, "to get changed. We pick Evelisse up on the way."

And like a whirlwind of cologne and cotton, the brothers bolted off to dress.

Fluffy floated in slow circles. "And just like that, Princess, you won the war."

’I did no such thing,’ Evelisse thought, tying her sash. ’They chose peace.’
