Chapter 253: A chat with Friends

"Oh, I see, how kind of them." Ash noted.

"Yeah, that is nice of them. But why’d they let you do that though?" David inquired further.

"Well, I saw through an old fox’s illusion and was deemed a prodigy." I explained.

"YOU WHAT!" Both David and Ashtraz screamed at the exact same time.

"Is that a big deal?" I asked, as I had no idea what it meant to be a ’prodigy’.

"It’s a HUGE deal!" Ash exclaimed loudly as she shot up and made her way over to my bed, where I was currently lying down. "Do you have any idea how rare it is to even be thought of as such a person?"

And with a blank stare and no emotions, I simply stated, "Nope."

She stared at me with disbelief, and I could see David off to the side doing the same.

"Ugh... I guess I’ll explain it to you." Ash sighed in a bit of dismay. "So, basically you are on the same levels as some nobles in terms of status if The Gilded Ophidian Institute has deemed you worthy of that title."

"Woah, seriously? I had no idea." I genuinely had no idea about this as I never really got to interact with society much so I’ve never heard about this before.

And neither did Asty apparently. "Woah... Does that mean big sis is a noble?"

Ash and David looked at the both of us individually for a few seconds each before they began explaining.

"Hah..." Ash began explaining, "While you aren’t technically a noble, The Gilded Ophidian Institute is such a highly respected organisation among serpentine culture that those with such a status they more often than not end up becoming nobles."

Then David continued, "And not of low ranking either. At least half of today’s noble family’s origins can be traced back to the Institute, and their heirs are all always sent here to continue their families’ legacies."

Ashtraz took over again after David finished. "And not just that, but even those that don’t end up becoming nobles usually end up in some sort of high-end position in the world, like the head of a new and successful company, or even be appointed a position in the royal court, be it the kingdom or even the empire."

David continued once again, "And because of that, anyone deemed worthy of the status of ’Prodigy’ by the Institute is considered an important person because their future’s are typically secured one way or another."

Ash then leaned down and stared directly at me and said, "Do you understand now?"

I pushed her away and responded, "Yes, I do. Sheesh, you don’t need get right up in my face you know? Or were you perhaps looking for something else~" I smirked as I teased Ash a little.

She blushed and backed away, going back to her seat. "Wha- Uh... No! Why would you think that?"

Her face was red and she was clearly avoiding eye contact with me. We’ve actually fucked a couple of times since my birthday. And I’ve come to learn that she’s a bit shy when it comes to romance and sex.

"Ohh, is something brewing between the two of you?" David egged further, causing Ash to blush even more as she covered her face with her hands.

"Wait... You two are fucking?" Asty blurted out without thinking.

David and I couldn’t hold our laughter even if we wanted to as the sudden declaration that Asty made was just so jarringly hilarious that we couldn’t hold it in.

"PPFFFTTT!! HAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!"

Ash seemed to have reached her boiling point as she suddenly got off of the sofa and screamed, "SHUT UP! STOP LAUGHING! BOTH OF YOU!"

That just made us laugh even more. This just caused her to become even more flustered. David fell to the floor gripping his stomach as his laugh became dry. As for me, I buried my face into my sheets.

A couple of minutes later, Ash just decided to leave, and a little after that David and I finally managed to control our laughing. All the while Asty was just confused.

"Big sis Tora, why did big sis Ash leave?" Tora was the shortened version of my name that Asty came up with for me. I liked it so that’s what the three of them call me.

As for answering her, I managed to calm down a bit, but still, my speech was filled with heated huffs as I explained.

"She- Heh- She was just- Heheh- E-Embarrassed is all."

"Embarrassed by what though?"

David managed to control himself and explained the rest for me. "She- She was embarrassed because she’s shy about sex. Oh, I haven’t had a good laugh like that in a while. Ahh, that was nice."

"Wait... You two had sex?" Asty asked as she looked at me and the door.

I had managed to control my laughter as well and answered her question, "Yup, we did. Our first was the day after my birthday, and we’ve done it like once a week since then at the very least. Ash is always the one to initiate it though, and she does so in private."

"Aww... I wanted to have sex with her also..." She pouted as she hung over the arm of the sofa she was resting upon.

"Wait really? Since when?" David was just as surprised as I was at that declaration.

Then again it wasn’t all that surprising. Most serpentine, and even most races in the world tend to start developing their hormones as early as twenty years old, except humans who do so at like twelve, which is fucking weird.

And for serpentine, fifty is around the age that one’s hormones are guaranteed to kick in. And seeing as Asty is forty-seven, it’s reasonable to see this happen now.

"Umm... I think the day after you first had sex with Ash?" Asty answered David’s question.

"Really? She must’ve been releasing some pheromones then. But still, why didn’t you say anything then?" That was my best guess as to why her own hormones started acting up then of all times.

"I uh, didn’t know what that feeling was... Until just now." She answered as she twiddled her index fingers together.

"Well, what are you going to do about it now?" David asked. "It’s unlikely you’ll be able to ask her now since she’ll probably avoid all three of us for the rest of the day until dinner time at the very least."

"Umm... Could we, maybe have sex instead then?" Asty asked as she fiddled with her fingers more intensely as she hid her blushing face behind them.

"Wow... I was not expecting you to ask that so blatantly." David expressed his shock.

I too was taken aback at how she just bluntly stated that.

"Is that a no then?" Asty asked a little depressed.

I assured her that was not the case, "No, it’s not no. We were just shocked at how forward you were with your request is all."

Her face brightened up as she stared at the both of us with starry pupils filled with happiness.

"But are you sure about this? This would be your first time, right?" I asked, wanting to make sure that she really wanted to do this, and with us no less.

Her face sharpened as much as it could as she answered without hesitation, "Yes."

"Well, I’ll leave you two alone then. I’m not one for sex myself, so I’ll be seeing myself out. Have fun." David waved goodbye as he exited my room also.

Asty was confused by this, "Wait, why did David leave? Is he not joining us?"

"He’s Asexual Asty, that means he doesn’t feel any desire or compulsion for sex or sexual things. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but that’s the general gist of Asexuality." I explained to Asty in the simplest and way I could whilst making sure she understood.

"Oh, I see. So, he can’t have sex?"

"No, it’s not that he can’t have sex, just that he has no interest in such things. He may joke about it here and there, but that’s only because he finds the jokes themselves amusing."

"Ohh, okay. I think I get it now."

"That’s good. Now, do you want to do this now or later?"

"Umm... Well, I kind of wanted to do it with Ash for my first time, but I don’t mind doing it with you either."

"We don’t have to do it if you don’t feel comfortable with it." I said in an effort to comfort her a little."

"No, no! That’s not it... It’s just... I like Ash... A lot..." She seemed to get real flustered talking about her feelings towards Ash.

"Oh I get it now. You have a crush on her, don’t you?"

She merely nodded her head as she shoved her face into the cushions on the sofa. I smirked at her cute responses and made her an offer.

"Tell you what, I’ll teach you how to have sex and even tell you a couple of her weak spots and then you can confess, what do you say?"

She lifted her tomato face just enough for me to see her eyes and for her to nod.

And so, I got her to get onto my bed so that I could teach her about sex.
