Chapter 69: Chapter 68: Strength That Shakes the Earth

The moment Zoey snapped her fingers, the flames hovering above her shot down from the sky like shooting stars, crashing onto their enemies with devastating explosions.

"Graaagh!" The cries of pain rang out from the zombies as they were heavily burned, some even caught on fire due to the "Burn" effect of the [Fireball] Skill, dealing extra damage to more zombies.

’They didn’t die from that? Their resistance has become good.’Zoey thought as she narrowed her eyes.

Zoey stretched out her hands below her, directly aiming at the zombies below the massive walls, where she saw the zombies stack onto each other to climb the wall, others were trying to break it as she could feel the vibrations of the wall with every impact.

The wall was weak, it wasn’t going to last long if she were to continue letting it take damage.

’I’ll start raining hellfire.’

Flames erupted from Zoey’s hands as she spammed her [Fireball] Skill, crashing down into the zombies like a powerful fussilade of missles explosions ringing out left and right.

"They’re dying!" A henchmen suddenly screamed in suprise, his eyes wide with awe and suprise as he saw the numbers of the zombiess start to dwindle under the insane barrage of fireballs.

’Holy shit! Is this what she is capable of?’ Devon thought in shock as he stared at Zoey, watching her in awe and a hint of fear, he definetly doesn’t want to get on her bad side.

"That should take care of it," Zoey muttered to herself, grinning as she took out her [Knight’s Oath] Sword, and with a gentle step over the edge of the wall, she descended to the ground.

With a powerful descend, she cleaved multiple Zombies with a powerful slash of her sword, killing multiple zombies on sight with her tremensous strength that made the ground tremble.

She vanished, moving like a bIkur of motion as she started to demonlish her enemies with her attacks, her sword flashing as she dealt with all of them at an incredible speed that shocked all her henchmen, shock spreading through them all they observed Zoey effortlessly taking care of the zombies.

"Roar!!" A zombiefied beast lunged at her from the crowd of zombies, bearing huge fangs that were ready to snap down at Zoey, but she only responded with a grin as she saw the beast approach.

She thrust her sword deep into the mouth of the beast, killing it as her sword pierced it’s brain. She tossed the body into the other zombies, blowing them back with her absurd strength.

"Damn....I didn’t she’d be able to be move so fast....her strength is truly terrifying." Devon swallowed nervously.

The battle was a one sided massacre, as Zoey was handling the zombies and beasts like they were nothing in comparison to her, even though minutes ago they were desperately stuggling to just even kill a few.

"Their numbers are certainly annoying, I’m fighting a whole army of these guys." Zoey muttered, annoyed. Their numbers were alot, and while they were easy to kill, she was worried about the bee that was making their way towards the mansion, a loud buzzing sound echoed through the air.

"Wait a damn minute! Is it leading them here!?" Zoey realized in shock, the zombies were certainly plenty, but the loud sounds of the bee’s buzz were attracting even more zombies to their location. It was leading them here.

Zoey slashed her sword as she got rid of a line of zombies, giving her some space as she looked at the large figure of the bee that was approaching. She struck out her hand as she immediately fired fireballs at the bee.

"Oh?" Zoey curiously raised a brow as she saw the bee dissapear from it’s position, reappearing infront of Zoey with it’s stinger ready to strike.

’It’s fast, but I can still easily read it’s movements.’ Zoey thought with a grin, [Heightened Senses] amplifying her senses to great levels as she effortlessly dodged the attack from her face, leaning against it’s momentum.

"My turn." She said as she counter attacked with a slash of her own, cutting deep into the bee’s side, a resounding houl of pain coming from it.

Zoey didn’t stop there as she delivered another powerful slash to the beast, causing great damage as it began to bleed profusely. The bee vanished once again as it appeared above her, buzzing madly as it glared at her from above.

"Skreee!" The bee made a loud horrific noise as it screeched, before releasing green acidic substance from it’s insect mouth, rapidky approaching Zoey.

’Acid?’ Zoey thought, quickly moving as she vanished and grabbed a zombie, before throwing it at her original position.

The acid rained down hard on the zombie as it’s form began to get heavily scorched, a painful roar escaping it’s body as it died in the acid it was engulfed in.

"...would I be able to withstand that if I were to get hit?" She asked herself, a bit unsure as she thought that maybe her [Earth Skin] and [Hindering Earth] Skills would be enough to protect her, as those two skins were extremely powerful, especially at 100.

Zoey didn’t have time to think as the zombies started to lunge at her again, forcing her to fight back against their numbers as she cut them to pieces with her strength.

The large bee continued to shoot acid at her from above, but it would only hit more and more zombies as Zoey was too quick for it to land a solid hit.

’This is getting annoying, I need to deal with these zombies first, then I’ll be able to kill that bee.’ Zoey thought, exhaling sharply as a powerful crimson glow radiated from her body, [Hardened Will] and [King’s Aura] activated in that moment as her power soared, granting her immense strength.

With the increase from her two skills, Zoey effortlessly began to cut down mass amounts of zombies with just a single strike, her figure a blur of motion as zombies continued to die left and right by the second.

After a few minutes, all the zombies were dealt with, their bodies littering the ground, and Zoey standing tall with her gaze focused on the large bee which buzzed madly.

"It’s about time I end this." Zoey thought, activating [Grace Of The Wind] as her body bolted towards the bee with insane speeds, appearing infront of it instantly.

She swung her sword hard at the bee, but the bee managed to block the attack with it’s stinger. A resounding clank rang out as the bee was thrown hard into the ground, crashing hard as the earth broke around it, forming a crater.

The bee was about to start buzzing again to quickly get away, but Zoey wasn’t going to let it have the chance to escape her attack this time.

"It’s over." She muttered as she adjusted her [Knight’s Oath] Sword like a javelin, and with one powerful throw that made the wind clap, her sword quickly flew to impale the bee, effectively killing it.

"Hehehe~It tried to get away, how cute." Zoey grinned with a soft giggle as she landed on the ground gracefully, walking towards the bee’s dead corpse.

She quickly grabbed her [Knight’s Oath] sword and pulled it out of the monster’s remains, but unexpectedly, the sound of steel shattering caught her attention as Zoey pulled out a broken sword.

"Damn it....it broke." Zoey thought, her face full of suprise, "I should’ve checked on it’s condition earlier. Sigh. Looks like I have no choice but to use [Volt Requiem] to clear the remainder of the Trial, even though I was planning on saving it for when strong enemies might show up."

The [Knight’s Oath] was a very incredible weapon, even though it was classified as D-Rank by the system. The last effect of the sword, "Last Stand", would trigger if her health were to fall below 20%, boosting her Strength and movement speed 20 Points.

An insane increase that she planned to use as her trump card, but that chance was now ruined, as the sword had finally met it’s end after it’s continuous usage.

"Maybe it wouldn’t have broken if I threw it...." Zoey contemplated, dissapointment visible in her voice.

"Holy hell..." The words of a henchmen quickly caught her ears as she turned around. The henchmen was trembling in fear as it saw the waste that surrounded the mansion, a crap ton of dead bodies polluting the ground.

"She actually did it..alone...no wonder Marlius was so obsessed on getting her.." Devon whispered to himself, his eyes wide with disbelief.

The display of power that unfolded infront of him was never seen before, it brought him great shock and awe as he wondered where on earth a being like Zoey came from.

’I need to get rid of these bodies, I don’t want their horrid smell to attract even more zombies to come this way.’ She thought.

"Stand back. Go back into the mansion grounds." She ordered the henchmen, leaping onto the massive walls of the mansion again as she stood above the dead corpses.

Once again, Zoey rained down flames with her [Fireball] Skill, burning the bodies of the zombies, and the massive bee, to complete ash. After the bodies were burnt, Zoey smiled as she turned to look at Devon.

"Keep a lookout, make sure to inform me again if more zombies make they’re way toward here." She said, leaping off into the mansion grounds.

Devon watched her walk into the mansion grounds, her steps confident and radiating power as she entered the mansion. He let out a trembling sigh, as he turned his attention back on his task.

"Yes miss." He muttered to himself.
