’A few conditions? This is a first, nobody would dare be bold enough to demand something like that from me.’ Natalie thought with a bit of a suprised expression, an interested smile blooming on her face ’I think I like this girl already, she’s pretty interesting.’

"Alright then, go ahead. Name your conditions." Natalie stated, crossing her arms as she radiated an aura of confidence.

The Academy Heads were suprised to hear Zoey demanding conditions, something no rookie had ever managed to do before, as Natalie wasn’t one to negotiate, but surprisingly, she accepted to hear Zoey’s conditions. Now all the attention was driven to Zoey as they waited for what she was going to demand from Natalie.

’Now I’m even more curious about this girl, I heard that she also demanded a few conditions from Sarina before being let into the guild.’ Mira thought as she glanced at Zoey, her golden eyes gleaming with interest.

And it makes sense as to why Sarina quickly accepted them, as she thought of the recruits she brought in as valuable investments that would take the guild to greater heights.

Sarina had an incredible eye for potential, as Mira and Kyle were also scouted by Sarina, and they soon became prodigies that dominated the battlefield and brought glory to their guild.

Zoey nodded as she took a deep breath to calm her nerves a bit as she started with the first condition:

"First condition: I want full privacy of my Status Window, nobody except for myself is allowed to see it." Zoey stated, causing suprise among the Academy Heads and Natalie herself as her eyes widened slightly at Zoey’s words.

’Why does she want her Status Window to be hidden?’ A thought came from one of the Academy Heads.

’That’s such a strange request, and why is she being so secretive about it?’

’She’s definetly hiding something, she has secrets!’

Many thoughts of suspicion came from the Academy Heads as they stared at Zoey with a questionable stare that radiated with mass suspicion, however, they didn’t say anything as they decided to let things take it’s course and see where this was going.

"You want to hide your Status Window?" Natalie asked, a hint of suprise evident in her tone, her eyes narrowing in suspicion "May I ask why?"

’I can’t let you know of my secret Talent, my crazy stats, and my max leveled skills. Though they probably go a clue about it when they watched the sparring match between me and Kyle.’ Zoey thought as she shook her head.

"I can’t tell you that, I apologize." Zoey replied.

’That’s very strange...and also very suspicious.’ Natalie thought as her eyes narrowed, glancing back at Sarina who had a warm smile on her face, her eyes fixed on her Star as she had eyes of deep pride and admiration.

’She always recruits the Top Talents I swear! It’s like she has an ability to nurture these kids and bring out their potential effortlessly.’ Natalie thought with a slightly irritated sigh, but turned her gaze back to Zoey.

"Fine, what’s your next condition." Natalie asked, curious to hear about her next demand.

"Last condition," Zoey started, "I wish to have the rights to refuse any Team-based assignments from the academy whenever I feel like it." Zoey stated.

’I don’t want to work with others much, as I’ll be forced to hide my strength and it will drastically slow me down. Similarly, my absurb strength might be exposed in the future, which could make things more complicated and attract unnecessary attention to myself.

And lastly.....I just don’t like working with people much, especially those who mocked me for not being Awakened.’ Zoey thought inwardly.

’Now she’s requesting to work alone too?’ Another thought popped up in the heads of the Academy.

’She doesn’t want to work with others, that just makes you more suspicious Zoey!’

"....." Natalie thought about it for a moment, how come she didn’t want to work with others? How will she grow to cooperate with others? If she continues to work alone, then how will she learn to trust others? As being in a dungeon could be incredibly dangerous, as one could lost their life at any moment.

Natalie continued to contemplate this for a moment, sure Zoey’s demands are rather strange and go against some rules of her Academy, as well as the right to refuse Team-Based assignments whenever she feels like it, is only a privelige a few students in the Academy have.

But regardless, she couldn’t care if Zoey’s demands were a bit strange, she was still an A+Rank Talent, and she would have her at all costs.

"Alright, then it’s settled. Welcome to Golden Hawk Academy, Zoey Monroe." Natalie said as she extended a hand for a handshake, the Academy Heads were suprised by this action as they couldn’t believe that Natalie would easily accept Zoey’s demands like that.

"Wait seriously? You’ll just take her in like that?" Lilia asked, suprise evident in her voice.

"Don’t you find it suspicious? She’s hiding her Status Window and doesn’t want to work with others, clearly she’s hiding something."

"I can’t help but agree on that statement."

The Academy Heads started to question Natalie’s choice, but Natalie couldn’t care, as long as she got what she wanted, she was satisfied.

’She gave in just like Sarina did,’ Zoey thought as she glanced at Sarina, who smiled at her warmly, causing Zoey to frown as she thought that maybe Sarina admired her a bit too much.

"Thanks, I’m looking forward to it." Zoey said with a warm smile as she shook Natalie’s hand.

’I need to tell Christine about this, who knows, if she awakens a good Talent as well, then she could enroll at Golden Hawk Academy too.’ Zoey thought, although she didn’t want to believe that her best friend could Awaken a spectacular Talent, she knew that it would be nice to have someone she trusted with her life by her side.

Inwardly, she hoped that Christine would awaken something spectacular, so she could be with her. A small blush formed on her cheeks at the thought as she shook her head lightly.

’No no, don’t think of her now, I’ll just blush again!’ Zoey thought as she took a deep breath and sighed.

"Alright then, Zoey will be attending Golden Hawk Academy. Now if there isn’t anything else to do here, I believe it would be a great time to go on with our day, hm?" Sarina said as she clasped her hands together, a sweet smile formed on her lips.

"Sigh, what a shame, I was hoping to secure her cute face into my Academy, but it seems luck isn’t on my side today." Lilia said, a deep sense of loss in her voice.

"The Academy Security will be here to pick you up in a few days, a few tests will take place to decide on your rank in the Elites, and the benefits shall be granted to you after the tests have been finalized and you’ve been scored accordingly." Natalie said, before turning to walk out.

"Best of luck, Zoey Monroe." She said, before leaving with the rest of the Academy Heads.

A few group of clean up staff entered the room shortly after as they started to fix the destruction that was caused by Zoey and Kyle’s sparring.

’I guess it’s time for me to go and prepare now,’ Zoey thought as she sighed slightly, the second Trial was still waiting to be cleared, and Zoey needed to prepare as much as she could in the limited time she had before she has to go sleep.

Zoey started to walk towards the door, but she stopped as she felt a hand grab her wrist, her eyes quickly turning to see Mira holding her back, a certain look in her cold eyes that she couldn’t explain. But nonetheless, it scared her as she knew the strength she held, a cold sweat breaking at the side of her face as her eyes narrowed.

’Crap! What does she want with me? Don’t tell me she wants to spar with me too, I don’t stand a chance against her.’ Zoey thought, but what Mira said next, shocked her to the core.

"Zoey Monroe, would you like to learn to improve your combat?"

’....Wha....’ Zoey’s eyes widened as her jaw dropped slightly, disbelief etched across her face at Mira’s words.

Natalie walked through the hallways with the other Academy heads, the others were chatting and expressing their frustration and sadness about not being able to recruit Zoey into their Academy, but Natalie was the only one who was quiet and had a contemplative expression etched on her face.

"Hehehe, you’ve made the right choice by taking Zoey into your Academy." Sarina’s voice sounded beside her, as she walked beside Natalie, an amused grin on her face.

"It doesn’t matter what her demands are, A+Rank is still an incredibly rare Talent, and I always make sure I get what I want. Honestly, she could’ve demanded for more, and I still would’ve taken her into our Academy." Natalie said

"Now I’m very curious to see how she will perform."
