"Nothing." The only response she made was a smile as she continued to eat her cookies silently. The trio returned to watching the matches. The others were mundane compared to the masked one. Decent, but the masked man's brilliant fire was flashier than the rest. However, there was one match he was interested in; Draezar walked onto the stage.

A good number of people cheered him on.

"Draezar! Look this way!"

"Look at me!" 

"Oh, it seems he's quite popular with the ladies." Only females shouted out his name. Scarlet scoffed, "That's because he's a lady's man...off looking for women all the time." Plus, he was a high noble. People would always be after power. That was the only reason why he was popular with some women.

A majority of the crowd was silent, which only made the cheer much louder than it should.

Lilith was silent, but the smile she had only curved upwards more! It was pretty damning! She glanced down at Eri on her lap, "Eri, never find a man like that."

"Hmm?" 

"Yes, don't ever choose a stinky person." Scarlet nodded as she held her in her arms. Eri just nodded, but clearly, from her clueless face, she didn't understand. 

"Hmm, his opponent seemed to be a noble." Keith focused on his opponent, who came out afterward. He's angry. When you think about the cheers that drowned out his introduction, anyone would be irritated. It seemed he was a noble as well. 

"Ahh, he's from a count family." 

"A count?" That means he wouldn't be bullied. At least a count has some political power in this situation. While he watched the two prepare themselves, Keith couldn't help but snort, 

“I think they need to limit the equipment they wear.” The amount of magic equipment worn by the other was not normal at all. It was like he was going to war. Also, can he use all that equipment? It gave him Todd Mills flashbacks.

“The count is invested in marrying Scarlet.” Lilith muttered, but that caused Scarlet to hold her head, “I remember him. He was hitting on me at a ceremony, and it was just a hassle." The man continued to pester her every day, making it such an annoyance. 

"I see." Let's see what he's made of. 

“I’m going to defeat you.” The noble stated.  

Draezar scoffed, “You really think you can defeat me?” The battle started. It was a head-on fight from the beginning. It was a fist battle. However, 

"Of course, the results will be skewed." With so many magic items, it would be impossible to put a dent in him. Plus, he seemed to have a recovery magical item. 

"...That definitely cost a fortune, right?" Keith's gaze turned to Scarlet and Lilith. The latter nodded. 

"Definitely unfair." 

But that was when a purple flame engulfed Draezar’s hand! 

"Haha, you think armor is going to protect you?!" His fist continued to clash with his opponents. Each time, the armor was being dented.

“What ferociousness.” Keith had covered Eri’s eyes as he watched this bloodbath. A fierce lion. The best way to describe it was savage. It was pure brutality as the armor slowly broke. That was not enough as he continued to attack.

“Ugh!” The boy was getting his ass beaten without a thought. That caused Scarlet to scoff.

“Hahah!” Draezar stepped on his opponent as he looked down on him as the victor.

“...” Quite temperamental. Keith frowned as he watched.

The next day, Keith headed to the stadium. Eri cheered him on, “Papa! You got this!” 

“Mmhmm.” Keith nodded as he headed out onto the stage. That was when the commentator shouted, "Folks! We have ourselves a heated battle today! The human is still in the tournament! Can anyone take him out and protect the princess?!”

“...” That's the best I'm going to get. Keith sighed as he stared at the demon in front of him. He pointed at Keith,” Human, you may be strong, but I've found your weakness.”

“Oh…”

“Why do you sound like that?!” Twitch. His eyes twitched funnily as he stared. However, that was when he started to chant. Mage versus fighter. Before the demon could finish,

Boom.

He got knocked out without a hassle. There was a difference between them. So what if he put distance. What he didn't expect was him being capable of dashing in so far deep.

“Hah,” Scarlet sighed, which caused Elyndra to comment, “Scarlet, you have to be more princess-like. Don't slouch your shoulders so far forward.” Their image was being shown to everyone around. 

“But the matches are so boring.” Keith isn't even trying yet. The man was nowhere going at his full capacity. It would only be when he faced Valgros that everything would go down. 

“...” Elyndra said nothing, but she continued to stare at her.
