This story is really good at everything except for a few flaws. The author's attempts at comedy sometimes ruin it, but it's fine since it rarely happens. Example is that MC is an insane physician but he does not know about sexual reproduction which is so stupid. The pacing at the beginning is slow then it speeds up with non stop action, the problem with that is that the ending felt rushed. But the world building and plot otherwise is peak and the fights are very good just read it.

This story is peak in every way except romance but remember this before starting. This is a mystery novel, the start will feel slow to get the world building rolling and the fights aren't like xianxia, they won't split mountains and part rivers atleast not in the first half of the story. I am saying this cause I wanted drop it at the beginning after people compared it to reverend insanity but these two are in different genres and shouldnt be compared. So keep that in mind and read while remembering everything as the author hints at events hundreds of chapters before.
