The labyrinth is definitely reacting to it's intruder. It should have started when the black reaper entered.
Ah yes, why do puzzles when you can just go through the wall. Puzzles are for weak chumps, we only fight monsters and find loot, and by fight I mean let our armor do the job. Hell yeah.
Well, seems like both golden and white firewood use emotions as fuel, however a golden flame uses positive emotions while a white flame is fueled by negative emotions. They can still use all emotions to fuel their flame, seeing how reaper used negative emotions as fuel during the hungry ghost crisis, but absorbing too much changes the flame (as seen by black reaper now using yellow flames and black reaper warning reaper not to absorb the white flame). Cult leader, dead mom and black reaper are known white flame users, and known for questionable practices that produce negative emotions, to put it mildly. White flames may be stronger, but there's likely some side effect yet unknown.
"As Expected. I'm smart" Bro if I knew three idiots, you'd be like a solid two of them. Proof: this chapter.
"My disguise is perfect" tries to ride into town on a horse, wisely abondons idea; armor is too clean; armor is too complex; far too small to be a human; object presence; light glowing under helmet(wasn't the helmet supposed to help with that?); eats food THROUGH the visor with HANDS.
Sometimes I feel sorry for the humans (and mini-reapers, and not-so-emergency food) that have to put up with reapers shenanigans. However said mischief also makes this so entertaining to read.
Good, good, keep taking notes, Seoah, and maybe you'll become as wise and knowledgeable in the ways of lore as I have.
weeping angel ah doll. Also a kill condition related to mirrors again. That's like the third time or more something with mirrors and/or reflections was important.
Hmm, first I thought the sand was just a visual representation, but it looks like the labyrinth itself is made out of sand with illusions projected onto it. Creepy old sand dude must love sand so much, since he's in a labyrinth of sand, looks at a sand map and even replaced his eyes with sand. That's some unhealthy obsession, man.
Well, I suppose I spoke too soon calling Reaper lazy, knowing now they can't teleport. They are still lazy though, for other reasons.
Looks like grey reaper needs a new name, like rainbow reaper or smth. Hopefully this doesn't change anything; I mean there's an object that kills you simply for naming objects wrong and has been suspiciously absent since the beginning of the novel.
Is it a sword or a cat? Is soft; likes pets; makes cute sounds; kills birds. Conclusion: It's a cat.
Dog meat uncle has a funny name, but is a good man. I like you.
Ah yes, my favourite body-horror. Dolls with TOO MANY E Y E B A L L S
The brave blue reaper who could look their human in the eyes. So cute, so precious.
Yeah, angering the black reaper who originally detested humans was not a bright idea. I believe this is the first time a reaper actually killed a human (human-objects don't count). And the reaper changed from using the golden (or yellow. It's grey reaper's either way) firewood to it's original white. Personally, I'm torn between being sad about it returning to it's "vengeful" state, and exitenebt for the sweet sweet lore about white firewood and how it differs from golden firewood.
I don't think we've seen this old man before. I believe the lantern salesman was a older man, but I it seems unlikely. If I had to guess, perhaps the king of the kingdom, a high chair is usually someone with authority. The light should be an 'eye', and it's authority something like "observation" perhaps?
