Not true. You don't become hated by the deamons the gods and the void beasts just because you're "good at avoiding". And this is by itself a great feat to be able to not be killed by them being "only" cursed..
We do not know indeed Weaver rank when VTB snatch out his eye but given what he saw in the reflect (the void) it means that Weaver already been there through the void gates and I don't think he did it when he was a mere sacred being. And even if he was it still a feat out of reach for Sunny and co.

True, but that just means he's good at avoiding strong people, it doesn't necessarily mean he's overwhelmingly strong. After all, he never killed any Gods or Daemons, he was just never killed by them
The best feat we have for him is that he stole Weaver's eye, but that could have happened back when Weaver was only Sacred (soon after the Daemons were born), so it's impossible to properly guess how strong he is
Pretty sure it's an error of the author if Madeleine is calling Tyrion by his real name and not by his alias Lukas (Almsfield)? Don't think my boy is careless enough to spread his real name to the first aquaintance he gets...
Nvm i'm rereading this gem, for those who read for the first time I envy you! This is one of the very few top progression fantasy story out there with the author giving a special attention to the realism and level of details in various aspects of his story. Characters credibility and variety, world building, combat, mc progression stand all above the average.

We never see a fight with Great Terror or Titan yet, i'm not sure maybe Anvil fought one in Antartica after the gate opening and the outcome is unknown.
Back then in America I was quite puzzled seeing three saints knock out alone a great devil, even if they were among the best of what humanity could offer...
This chapter is a good reminder for those who think actual Sunny can takes on a Vile Thieving Bird for example, even with Nephis...

The Antartica first part until Falcon Scott is definitly goated mainly because of the tension and the feeling of despair you talked about the adition of the new cohort and the fact of Sunny finally taking the lead in the story... Top 3 SS arc along with Forgotten Shore and Ariel's Tomb for differents reasons.
This feeling of danger was missing in the last sovereign war arc and resulted in a lack of immersion in my opinion.

Its beeen soo long sunny felt like this.... so hopeless... weak... raising his insanity... last he had been like this in Antarctica winter beast fight.... now he feels hopelessness again... i love when story goes into dark horror theme... thats y i loved antartica arc.... mainly when they travel along the sea
