This back story was certainly pulled out of no where just to give her a reason to agree. Before it was made to believe he was cruel to her since the day he made her a shadow with blood worm.

This summary reads like an AI-generated slop. The tropes seem generic. It's self-aware but it won't avoid the cliche tropes. I might give it a try to see if the author just fumbled the summary but the story is actually good.
The prose is definitely better. The world building is grand. Power system is unique. Characters are fleshed out and main character has a personality. If you had read even up until 50 chapters you'd agree on that. What problems did you have with it?
This is definitely on par with AoTTC especially considering even the first volume hasn't ended yet.

No one's hating for merely saying they don't like a story. It's fine. Not every story can suit everyone's taste. The fight started because someone said something objectively untrue and rage baited people into replying.
