As the comment below was saying, I don't think it was ever mentioned what his past life was like, besides the facial paralysis and the 'beatings' he got. MC also always seemed like a robot, full of resolve toward one final goal, with no connections with his former world. This dream seems to be something important, so here are my theories on what it could be.
1. Memories of his life as 'Wolfram'.
2. Memories from his previous life.
3. Possibly even memories from Vikram, a sign that their souls or merging?
