Maybe the gods get their power from worshippers, or need them for some reason. Sun God saw Hope getting too many worshippers and wanted to transfer her worshippers to himself, or prevent her from getting more worshippers?
Sunny, Nephis and Mordret all have a resource with their divine aspect(Sunny has his shadows) and they can all use it to augment either themselves, their weapons, armor etc.
But they can also use it for something else, Sunny can use it to scout out, and has extra eyes througg his shadows. Nephis can heal herself with her flames. And mordret can create mirror beasts that can grow stronger, i feel like Sunny is heavily outshined by the abilities of these 2 no?
He is so fucking OP, he might be at transcensant level with enough prep like this?? I'm guessing that they're not going to be working together this nightmare.
