At chap 30 but still can't tell what's good about this. MC is frankly boring, both versions. He claims to know a lot but he doesn't know crap when it matters. The only thing that kept me awake was the cringy parts.

MC does not seem the master type regardless of which wimpy personality.

I think the God of Death pulled a very boring soul to this new world.  Don't you usually pull a soul more motivated to your cause?  Unless said cause is for him to be useless and cause more death for the god to reap.

This is why I hate possessions, always faking everything and lying as if that would in any way be a good character growth.  Everyone missing their friend, son or brother and him basically a friendly version of a skinwalker.  What would be awesome would be that he really was in the void realm for 2 years and hallucinate living in an alternative life for 17 years before exiting. 

Not sure how that's even a comparison.  When Sunny first got his aspect and flaw, to me his reaction was epic.
