Easily one of my favorite novels of all time. It certainly has some slow and steady progression in the beginning, however, I have yet to find a comparable novel with the same level of natural and well-written world-building as this one. The MC is likeable and far from a pushover. Each of the characters introduced throughout are both memorable and well rounded. I would highly recommend it and will say with certainty it is a very well worth read.
