They're adults... and what you said makes sense thanks for agreeing with me 😁 "their social growth is very delayed." It only makes sense for them to act like they're teens. Which is why I don't like it and find it cringey. SS is almost peak excluding the romance.
So you're gonna expect people who are new to falling in love and who don't know a 'shojo manga' to act like a full grown experienced adults in love. They're also not any random ppl lol, they're Sunny and Nephis who've been disconnected from humanity for most of their childhood so their social growth is very delayed. So I feel the romance, is pretty realistic.
It being 'cringy' is an interesting opinion, I never felt that way I only thought it was wholesome and sweet. What scene in the entire romance from v8 was cringy, I'm curious?

At first it was really wholesome and fun to read. Then post time skip when Sunny became 26 it became cringey because he acts like a teenager romantically and Nephis aswell. It's cringy and hard to read.
I'm actually enjoying the battles against the Cursed nightmare creatures a lot. They're so much more interesting and unique to fight against especially with their different traits.
I The Supreme Angel am here and somehow I have even more unfinished Novels in my library i seriously need to finish them but I feel like reading a new thing already I can't stop! it's the same with anime and manga but I did start a novel and finished it from start to finish in about 2 days its called the God's games the ending felt lackluster the Story could have continued for far longer then it did but at least I finished it now I need to finish the other novels in my library or else I might never finish them just came here because I know everyone misses me I am so handsome and kind and humble and strong and honest after all how could anyone not miss me? it must have been torture for you all to see me gone! but from now on I will comment more often like before even though I still didn't finish CoI i only made it to chapter 21 before I started other novels instead of completing the ones I already started but if I waited until I finished CoI another century might pass 😮💨
Your point actually proves your own complaint because since the cursed beast's will is focused on the attack, it's defense is laid bare and weak which allows Sunny to attack successfully with his Death Will.
"However, just like a mindless beast could not fathom a combat technique, the colossal Nightmare Creature could not wield its Will with focused intent either." --From the previous chapter (it specifically says "focused intent")
Example of focused intent: Condemnation who could warp space for his attack to connect faster, his Will was used to prevent Sunny and Nephis from escaping by warping space

It is used a bit like a scapegoat, "Oh they have more will but ours is more refined because we're not currpted and so it cant aim it's will well" Surely a being purely focued on killing, even putting it's own life at risk happily if it means damaging you...surely its will must be aimed very well since it has a singular goal for it's whole existance.
Yes most the side characters are pretty good having relevant roles in the story. The main cast don't revolve around the mc and are not just stepping stones for the mc like in other novels. They're each unique characters and most of them have their own development and peaks along with having a unique relationship with the mc.
Side characters pov chapters were very few (one of the only flaws) but in the recent volumes G3 started putting much more of them.
Romance has a slow build-up and is actually really good considering the complex and complicated relationship he has with the female lead
And ofc the mc has the best character development and is not lacking in any way.

How are the side characters in the novel? Do they have depth, personal development, and an impact on the story and narrative? Does the author present their thoughts so we can understand the world from different perspectives? Or are they neglected in the background and treated like moving NPCs, as many other novels tend to do? Also, is the main character's development logical and consistent with his initial characterization?
I ask because I really dislike stories that ignore their side characters or give them no depth
I love novels that delve into the characters and their psychology and highlight their remarkable development and impact on the world of the story.
I noticed the romance tag as well is the romantic relationship written logically and with care, or does it lack deep emotional interaction, making it feel shallow?
