i mean, we dont really know how popular Weaver was in that era, and considering the curse of the Forgotten God on them and the fact that they literally are the most mysterious figure in the world (aside from Shadow God probably), we can come to the conclusion that Weaver lived a lonesome life. they were hated by everyone except their followers, and all of them had no hope of surviving the Doom War. this was probably a figure of speech too, referring to the fact that Weaver had no one to accompany them on their journey and were completely alone
True but they're just fragments so maybe that's what counts. Also the Daemons were initially Sacred which means they had to follow normal ascension route. G3 should hopefully explain this.
