who would've thought my hating a*s would actually start enjoying this story, i mean i still think volume 2 and 3 are mostly mediocre but my friend said he'd give me 5€ to read the entire volume 4(i'm very desperate for money.), since i qoute "You'll probably like it." but yeah it does fix my biggest grievances with volume 3.
I heard it's because the author is so infatuated with Chizuru himself (imagine falling in love with your own character) that he doesn't want her to get with Kazuya. 😭🙏

Off topic, but I just saw on reddit that Rent A Girlfriend released it's 380th ch and there was a confession so I went to check although I haven't read a single chapter of the manga before and what happenend made me almost curse the author to death, (spoilers) chizuru confessed to Kazuya and said she can even kiss him but because of her profession she just bowed and said "I'm Sorry" and Kazuya ultimately still got rejected lmao. Author should just stop writing at this rate.
I'd say another week worth of chapters would be enough to end the current arc.

I feel a bit of regret... But the university I'm aiming for is one of the best in my country, and even if I had started studying 7–8 months earlier, I still might not have gotten in. (I guess I'm trying to comfort myself. 😭) Still, I believe that with what I've studied this year and what I'll study next year, I can get in. In a way, it seems like I was going to spend another year preparing anyway. In my country, it's not unusual to study one more year for the exam. Plus, I started school a year early, so I'm not really losing time.

Sunny's personality (in the movie they made about the forgotten shore lol). I also like how "Sunless" shortens to "Sunny" lol it makes it makes it seem like a translation-error-that-somehow-makes-sense. I like the lack of awkwardness in "the relationship" (iykwim). So many authors from SK and Japan can't write these at all. Chinese ones can by going to the other extreme (eg, GoS). I like how each character's power is unique. I loved the tension and risk of Sunny's weakness in combination with his true name thing.
