It hurt, it hurt because I loved them. The main cast, the side characters, everyone. Everything is comprehensive and so well thought out its a marvel of authors' genius. It's the most perfect novel for any reader.

Even now I cry reading the manhwa. This is a novel that built me, broke me and became a part of me. I am a "reader".

Amazing as hell. This cured my boredom of repetitive characters and dull plot everywhere i went.

Mc is ruthless, petty, extremely talented and vicious and super beautiful. His goal and dream is to become a doctor but he's married forcefully to a sickly rich guy -----> the growth to becoming the sole power that controls the empress, the shadow military and can topple the thrown. I love their personalities, their scheming, their murderers, treason, love, development, fears. Everything.

Calm, collected, scheming, scamming, commander type, stoic yet caring to his loved ones and extremely vicious to his enemies, self sacrificial, painful past Mc.

The found family is super wholesome, the misunderstandings are super cute, world building is super simple but it's extremely vast in the sense, mysteries about gods and past. The large scale magical fights are so goddamn beautiful and magnificent it's a blessing to read them. The enemies aren't weak either, neither does Cale win all the time without sacrificing.

100/10 extremely recommended go for it!!!!

Aaa i am addicted to this super bad.

The uniqueness and world building is so fcking peak, imagining the landscapes, the large scale wars really takes your breadth away. 

The battles and lore is one of the best. The fight scenes give me so much adrenaline and lore is soooo juiccyyyy and well structured like— stuff from beginning of novel is thrownback to 2k+ ch and it's insane.

Sunny's character development is also insane. He values friendships and relationships but also power, and we see his struggles and experience his pain.

 All in all deserving of the #1 rank, and it steadily gets better
