This is truly a unique book. When I first interacted with it, I was simply looking for better fiction. But now after reading RI, it feels much more than mere literature, something that leaves a mark on you for the rest of your life.
The rights ->
✅️An evil protagonist that's done right, without coming off as edgy, cringe or attention- seeking.
✅️Side characters who have actually have depth.
✅️Lack of any forced romance with Fangy.
✅️Extremely detailed world building and history.
✅️A power system that is well rounded and is throughly explained.
✅️Doesn't hold back on making things difficult for Fangy.
✅️Doesn't hold back on gore.
The balance ->
☯️The world building may get lengthy at times.
☯️Some arcs feel stretched more than they should have.
☯️The occasional gore and cruelty may be too much for the ones new to it.
The wrongs ->
❌️Ironically, despite having some of the best SC's, their handling isn't always the best.
❌️I didn't like how BNB's potential was wasted for the majority of the book.
