Me- Hey, yeah, Sorrowful...
Sorrowful- That Nephilim again?
Me- About that, he just called you Hateful Sorrowful and was secretly discussing how to bring you to justice, and that you must pay for your evil deeds! I can't believe he said such cruel words about you.
*Growling voices coming from the phone*
Sorrowful- Just wait for me to come there, I'll kill that wretch right now.
the first 450 chapters are the definition of 10/10 for me. Good plot, progression is steady and neither slow or fast. Characters are good and interesting. The events occuring are fun to read. Action good, MC on the grind.
After chapter 450? Takes a steep nosedive, goes to like a 6 or seven. Never too trash, but never too good. It tredges the 'mid' section. Take it from someone having read 745 chapters. I already know the ending is subpar, the reason why I have never finished it.
Am i biased? probably. I still like the novel, but I can see why people might dislike it. Still worth it in my opinion. It's that good for the majority of it.

Manwha got axed, ending is Sh!t (not for me-cuz I haven't read it😁) but still good?
I'm either misremembering, you are, or we both are.
Half of what you said strikes a chord, the rest are missing. My memory is not the best lately. Either way, it's a minor detail which will never be brought up again in the novel, so just skim it. It literally is there only for the MC to take those properties from the son of heaven, so basically stealing his oppurtinity.
It was something about the younger disciple, son of heaven, telling the older one before he gets hand down said properties.
Either way, minor. Keep going with the novel my brother 👍.

Yes but one of the disciple should be the masters biological son. So the other disciple knew that everything was gonna go to the biological son. So he killed the biological son. Took all the properties married that guys wife. And later started fucking his daughter. He even killed that guys wife so that she wouldn't get in the way of this messed up relationship. That's as far as I can remember. I think the guys name was Gustav or something
I don't if you read, but like what you said happened twice only in 450 something chapters, and was never the turning point of the romance. The MC helping them never was the final push. The first time he saved a girl which had already showed interest in him. The second time he saved others there was already a lot of development. Not being a romance tag is mostly the sites fault here.
What you mentioned, about novels with a harem tag but without the romance tag being trashy is quite true. But my best hint for you to filter out the trash, it to:
Check the original language. You can do this from NU. Korean novels usually have most indepth relationships, JP novels have shallowest, Chinese have large harems, while western novels are the epitome of find out yourself.

when you see the harem tag without the romance tag, its 98% sure that harem is just there to show the magnificance of the MC from the female perpestive and all fall due to damsel in distress act.
Not actually. Although what you said is more common to some regression novels, best example being 'The Main heroines are trying to kill me', this one uses neither. The 4 romantic ineterests are his fiancee, a girl which used to be his servant, a girl which received a ton of help from MC before slowly developing a crush, and lastly a girl who fancied him for his wild facial features. So not a single one of them even remembers the past nor cares about his strength.

I guess its the usual trope of either the FMC falling and feeling guilty of how badly they treated him post regression or he powered up, female impressed, female have crush, female follow ML and then similarly wallah Harem haha.
(Accidentaly Delted my comment)
My belt knows of gender equality. it does not disciminate against vermins.
Sorrowful, he's under my protection, I will take good care of him, Thank you.
YOU ANT, HOW DID YOU GET OUT OF THE BASEMENT?
The taste of freedom is indeed quite sweet let's talk about that Hateful Sorrowful and how to bring him to justice he must pay for his evil deeds!

...dude are you alright, get some rest
???
Did I have a stroke mid-read?
I see you writing in english but the brain is not connecting.
So anime -> novel -> novel end back to anime -> novel of anime -> anime -> anime done back to novel, then anime back to novel?
Oh wait, you are saying options 🗿
My bad.
ok so we have got a couple options
1. Anime -> novel from where it ends
2. Novel finish then -> anime
3. Novel of what anime covers -> anime -> back to novel
4.anime-> Novel from start
I'd go with the 1st in these, anime is great or 3rd option if you wanna experience nice it back to back

On NU, the novel has the genres:
Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Harem, Martial Arts, Romance, Wuxia.
Then it has more tags, which some of them being:
romantic subplot, comedic undertone, blah blah.
