d*mn, will the lightning godess now take a fancy on our mc? The man is also surrounded by lasses, hopefully she won't or our MC will become the new exclusive lightning rod.
Thank you. I'm glad to hear you are past that sh*t. Everything gets better by some point. We need to realise that we humans require routines and a change of scenery. Staying holed up in the bed to read novels sounds amazing until you realise how f*cked your body will be after a couple of years. After 4 years of studying from home, reading novels all day, sleeping at 4 or 7am daily, and not going outside besides working out, my mental health got fried😭. I still remember those times fondly though. Just like you, I would read novels for the majority of my day like a madman🤣. Ahhh... good times.

I'm a lot better from that times, but d*mn dude, it was crazy. I wouldn't spend 14+ hours, but at most 7 hours just reading, the fact I read quite fast helped me on reading so many. Hope you get better bro
If you mean outside of webnovels (as in the website), then a couple are 'son of the hero king' (smut & action), 'I Became A Flashing Genius At The Magic Academy' (academy, action, reincarnation inside a game), 'Childhood friend of the zenith' (Murim setting, action, misudenstandings, plotwists). I am not really picky with my food. As long as the TL is decent, and the plot is not absolute trashy, such as those self-insert op giga chad mc who stuffs his d*ck into every hole.If you mean web novels (as in the digital available novels), I only read these for the most part due to how easy it is to access them and because they span for enormous amounts of chapters. I do not really like the concept of a novel having 1-3 books only. If I find something enjoyable, I want to extend that experience as much as possible. I do know though that there are plenty of book series which are longer than trilogies. I plan to read them sometime in the future. I would gladly though take any recommendations

Hmm i dont think school will agree with that. Whats your favorite novel outside of web novel
Yes, I certainly agree that the female characters are usually the problem since they are written poorly. But, most settings are not made with harem in minds. Let's take a dungeon, apocalypse or reincarantion into a fantasy world. There is nothing here inherently screaming polygamy, and usually all relationships BESIDES the mcs are typical 1to1. Lets take your usual reincarnation inside a game, very used in korean novels, most (if not all) of the characters have very normal relationships. Even the king, which you would think he would have plenty of wives and concubunes is loyal to his only queen. Then we have the MC which is surrounded by females which simply sticks out like a sore thumb. The environment does not explicitly forbid such relationships, but when it is out of the norm and sticks out like a sore thumb, then it becomes even more unrealistic. I understand though what you mean about environment which allow such settings, because the authors usually leave a backdoor for such.

مUnfortunately, you are completely wrong about the last point, because most of the harem novels, past and present, are always set in an environment that allows for polygamy, harems, and marriages.
But the way the authors deal with them is very childish and shallow, and most of the female characters in these novels are one-dimensional, without a goal or ideas, but just a body and a face Nice fan service
A The biggest problem here is that the female characters in harem stories are always without goals, ideas, depth, or realism, and even their romantic relationships with the main character are very flat.
It is rare to find a harem novel where the female characters are logical and realistic and not just ink on paper.
The solution is rather straightforward, just don't get hit🤷♂️ (insert Dark_Souls_2_menuOST.mp3)
