No no that's why I don't like this, I don't have problems with "game mechanics" in a novel that's about games etc, I have problems when "game logic" bleeds into fantasy novels. For example take dungeons, they make no sense in fantasy, they are just a cheap writing. I want fantasy that draws you into their world and this is not it. I read 35 chapters.

From this it seems you haven't made it very far into the novel, as some of this is further explained in the worldbuilding and lore as the novel progresses. This isn't some isekai/game combo world with a system and skills with an op MC
I'm disappointed, the summary made it seem like dune, but the story hits you with the cliché dungeons and skills. Why why why would you have dungeons? Is this a game? The world turning into a desert could have been really interesting and even somewhat realistic, but for some reason author made the world turn into a desert real quick with the "apocalypse" or whatever the author calls it. This is what I have wanted: "Slow dying of the planet by desertification (hundreds of years) and placing the mc at the point where only few oasis remain which people fight over. As for magic I would have made it the reason for desertification (magic users drain the mana from their surroundings, killing life around them) and no skills. As for the goal it could be simple as becoming the king of the desert or something, you don't have to become a God in every novel."

So cliché, let me guess the hourglass isn't just trash. The hourglass dropping on to his head from the sky would be more surprising then this.

I'm going insane because of the missing characters
Oh no
Aah if this slows down his cultivation too much I'm calling it quits. He should have just lost some life essence, that would have been more fun.
Peeked ahead and he gets it at "Chapter 0187: Redeeming Royal Sap". We must persevere!
My man
Aura farm incoming
Tbh these trash novels should be just removed.
Can we make a petition to NOT have these on the front page?
Peak novel one of my favorites
