This story is too good. I cried and laughed alongside the characters. How can a person be so good at telling a story?! I love you author!
I read this literally in one breath and then went on to explain the whole plot to my poor sister.
The first death was especially beautiful, it made me bawl even though I could predict that he would come back. It was still too sad.
An adorable slice of life! As a plant lover I really enjoyed the entire aspect of gardening and really wish I had the same system, it would be really helpful (everytime I get a bonsai it dies! tell me mc what am I doing wrong?!)
Aside from the age gap and a predatory behavior at the beginning from the ml + the somewhat overwhelming last part about the bamboo structures and jungle and whatnot which I found to be boring, this story is a nice way to pass time.
It has cute parts and funny parts too which made me giggle and I really love the mc.
If you told past me that I'd be reading a yaoi about cavemen with Chinese names that can transform into animals, I would have laughed in your face.
Yet here I am, finished all the 200 chapters. Who knew this would be so interesting! I really enjoyed the whole plants, cooking/food part of this story. And the main couple is adorable!
The nonchalant and laidback attitude of the mc was the best! And it was funny too. There were also other many funny characters and scenes that made me giggle.
The sotry almost always kept me on my toes, especially when they traveled to the beastman continent.
The only thing I'd say ruined it was the mc actually "becoming" (not denying that he was) the beast god even though he's not. Idk it just annoyed me and it was unsatisfactory when he returned back to the village and everyone started treating him as a god.
The concept is really interesting and so is the worldbuilding skills of the author! Everytime the mc jumped into a new world I was impressed by how well the new world was described and how easily I could see it in my mind.
But I also think it was extremely overwhelming. I ended up only reading the beginning of the last three worlds, completely skipping the middle part because it was just...a lot. I was really only excited to see what the new world would be like and what kind of character our mc would play.
I also skipped the ending, sorry I think the romance aspect of this story gave me too much second hand embarrassment and I couldn't feel am attachment towards the couple at all. I could feel it in some of the world's, specific the first like two and then later on it was just the mc chasing and chasing and it got boring.
I came here for an apocalyptic romance but was disappointed when it was a reborn type where he came back to the past to prepare. But ok that's fine! I can totally enjoy this too. Except I couldn't because the preparation for the apocalypse seemed to drag on forever, I don't even know how many chapters I read before dropping but it was too much. Where is the apocalypse wahh
The ml is weird. Lying/pretending about being blind to the mc was low of him. And then purchasing a house right beside his was extremely...weird especially because he specifically chose to be in the room that had a window that looked straight into mc's room. I just couldn't get over the second hand embarrassment I got from this 'couple'.
I say 'couple' because what the hell is with the development!? I still don't understand where, how and why the both of them fell for each other. There is no chemistry, there is no spark! I'm not feeling it. All I feel is embarrassment and irritation.
It had so much potential! So muchhh
