The good things is the author incorporated a variety of magic types and a good power scaling. Coupled with the gradual advancement of the MC and his character makes it unique. The writing is good too, not top tier but delivers.
What I found annoying was the inconsistence like the MC gets OP and that's ok, we like OP mc but before that cements in the readers mind the mc gets nerfed just like that by saying the opponents magic is too special and the mc won because he caught them off guard or because they understimated him. And that too for characters that will be forgetted after a while, why get the mc talk to himself like an extra. The other one that is very unsettling is that new power levels get introduced too quickly compared the MC's power level progression and the MC gets confronted by these powerful individuals when they could kill him instantly, at least the mc should make a major leap before getting that. And certain "arks" be unnecessary.
