Uhh, well I was caught off guard by the initial thought process of Zhu Cici at the beginning of this chapter. How those 2 childhood friends would react if they were to hear about all this drama...

I feel like the emperor was thinking about an arranged marriage between our Protagonist and the Crown Princess. Also, I wonder if the Grandson of the 5th Prince will become a later plot point (It's obvious that it will, but I'm curious about where in it he plays. E.g. he could be allying with the demon kingdom to take down the Wu kingdom)

This confirms the dog guy's identity and his backing (the demon kingdom). However, I wonder if the MC's actions have cause the guy to be aware of him and in turn make him a target as well. (If im not wrong the heavenly scholar was the inital target)

Seems like we have a new member joining the Protagonist.

Also the last sentence basically confirms that those people are sided against humanity, and have the backing of the Prime minister (could be the Wu, Qi country or another one).

My guess is that the people speaking at the end are a part of the demon cult.

Sometimes I wish that in reality, adults could still cherish and hold dear their childhood optimism and memories,  perhaps it's just because, for me, life just seemed so joyful when I was younger.

The goose is probably going through an evolution of sorts. Like awakening or smt along those lines.

I wonder if his growth will be linear or exponential?

haha, it's nice to get reminded of childhood ambitions. Perhaps I should try to regain some of it.
