I will be honest when i say that this isn't for everyone at all, even for yandere tag enjoyers at all.

It's a story that has a lot of chinese elements from potions to the level up system to the classic "dual cultivation" that can somehow increase your level or decrease it based on the partner, even the fact that the higher your level the more youthful you become. A lot of Chinese story elements but with a western coat of paint on it and less confusing names in general.

The story is also part of the newer trend where our dear MC is fighting against the mentality challenged heaves or world who choose the most garbage human beings to acquire women, fame and power, stuff they absolutely do not deserve. Thus we follow our MC that is surprisingly with a good head on his shoulders and calls out most of the time the unlogical behavior characters in this kind of stories showcase which can be seen as refreshing to some while for others it can be weird to see him in this genre.

Now i will talk about the yandere. Ohhh boy they sure plenty and with 2 distinct flavors both crazy in the head and delusional. The first kind that most people enjoy are the girls who are natives of the world and are vanilla yanderes that will not in most cases: lie, manipulate, induce Stockholm syndrome, drug, overall not being the second category. The second category does what i mentioned above and then some, basically horrible human beings that people can hate with ease and not even the MC likes personality wise, nobody can get rid of them or go against them. The worst part about them is that they slowly corrupt/manipulate the MC to accept some of their ideologies or accept them when they absolutely do not deserve any love

Now with that out of the way, you can just enjoy or ignore this piece of "literature "

Overall an overrated piece of literature that might appeal to some people while making others curse it. I am part of the latter category since people praise it constantly when the reality is this = all the author has ever written has bad characters , with some good action and some plot twists, repetitive plot points that make 0 effort to create nor do they accentuate the characters personalities at all since pretty much all the female leads have the same personality and reactions but different jobs, like the minions from dragons dogma series. So in order to hide the bad points the author and many others use extravagant language and drama without substance to hide it, a common and decent strategy not gonna lie.

Overall no matter if you like it or hate it like me, it's best to see that it has good and bad points, like any story ever written

I would love to give this a better score but the somewhat interesting plot falls after some arcs around chapters 300 due to characters and author's way of handling said characters and their arcs.

The characters in majority are just bland, especially the MC and most of the heroines have absurdly shallow reasoning for even liking the MC with the exception of the best girl Marie who is much more charming than 95% of the characters involved and less shallow than all of them walking stereotypes. She is so good in fact that the author instead of progressing the story in an interesting way with her, decides to put her in the background so that the demon girl with 0 personality that is "oh so pitiful she deserves it" (not) thus forcing the story when it shouldn't at all. Also reinforcing my belief that black haired heroines are a menace who steal from better FMCs. Overall wasted a lot of potential
