Not too bad. Good read if you are looking for passing time or stacking up chapters of your favourite novels. Some plotlines are cliche but still interesting nonetheless.
This is one of the best novels I have read in a long time. Very different from what I am used to, hence it feels like a breath of fresh air. The complexities of the plot and characters are outlined very well. The most interesting part for me is the MC traversing a path that is just a thin line away form losing everything, that keeps you on the edge. A definite must read that I would surely recommend.
Absolutely boring. The MC lacks character and most importantly a backbone. I'm not saying he should just go against all that have wronged him. But atleast have it in him to do so......

I still remember the day I stumbled upon Zhan Long. I was simply browsing the internet, looking for free books to read online, when I encountered a term that was completely new to me: manga. Curious, I clicked—and discovered what we commonly refer to as comics.
Among the many titles, one stood out: Zhan Long, a manga with only about 15 chapters available. I started reading it, and to my surprise, I was instantly hooked. The story had action, charm, and that addictive quality that makes you lose track of time. But just as I was settling into the world and craving more, I discovered that the manga had been dropped by its creators for reasons unknown. The story stopped abruptly—leaving me frustrated, yet hungry for answers.
Determined to continue, I dug deeper and learned that Zhan Long was originally a light novel—another new term for me at the time. Without hesitation, I jumped into the novel version, and that marked the beginning of my journey into the world of light novels.
As my very first light novel, Zhan Long had everything it needed to leave a lasting impression: intense and well-written battles, a compelling plot (one that honestly stands above many titles we see today), and a cast of characters, each with their own arc, charm, and importance. But above all, it had that elusive wow factor—the one that pulls you in and refuses to let go. Page after page, chapter after chapter, I found myself unable to stop reading.
Years have passed since then. I've read countless works by authors of all styles and talents. And while I wouldn’t call Zhan Long the greatest novel I’ve ever read, it still holds a special place in my heart. It's a story I remember fondly—not just for what it is, but for what it represents: the gateway to an entire new world of fiction and imagination.
Is my opinion biased? Perhaps. But sometimes, the heart remembers better than the head. So I’ll leave it to you—read it, and decide for yourself.
