The more I read the more I love this. As of chapter 120~ this can be considered one of the greatest cultivation novels simply because it's unique but still rooted in conventional cultivation -> it just works so unbelievably well!
This us just so awesome, there are moments that are genuinely funny, moments that make me giddy and excited and moments that just make me happy to read on!
I truly hope taht the novel continues like this cuz if so this might actually become a contender in my top 3 in terms of cultivation novels!!
(PS I've been reading cultivation novels for yeeears now so I hope my opinion is worth at least a little bit)
I'm all caught up.
Imo one of the greatest stories on this site so far!
Starts up slow (I almost does in the beginning because of that but I'm so unbelievably glad I didn't!)
Premise is kind of luke Martial world bit in a magus universe, the main character is in my honest opinion a well rounded one, he's younger in the beginning and prone to make mistakes but he actually matures, people like to s*it on him in the beginning for "taking his time" and "actually enjoying life, he should be getting stronger".
Bu I despise s*it like that.
I love when MCs have genuine hobbies and genuine connections with people!
I love how he actually feels human and I adore how after his little school arc (around chapter 200 something) he grows up to become more mature in decision making but STILL KEEPS HOBBIES ETC.
The personality is refreshing and it's a joy to read.
Around chapter 600-something I was genuinely crying cuz of backstory stuff.
I implore you to read this!
One of the greater stories on this site!
Please do yourself a favor and read it and you have to believe me that once he leaves the school/academy it genuinely gets better or rather once he gets onto rank 2!
Please take my word for it!
This novel is so weird and the characters especially the MC behaves so fkn weird.
It's like the author forgot to write the first 20 introduction chapters of the novel.
And it's not even trying to be smart about it, explaining what's going on as it happens, nope, it's just expected of you to know what's going on. "Good" thing is that it's easy af to keep up cuz it's so rich of clichés that you can guess the entirety of the story based on the first 10 chapters haha... .
So yeah, definitively not the best.
Premise is kinda cool but that's it really.. oh and the grammar is good too ig
I'm at 145 sadly I gotta drop it.
It's just UNBELIEVABLY repetitive.
The beginning is very nice, a breath of fresh air even! But it just doesn't change it's basically the same plotline over and over and over and over again.
Why does he even keep hiding his power atp??? Hes so unbelievably strong it doesn't even matter!
Also don't say sth along thr lines of "BecAuSe it wOulD inVitE tRouBlE" cuz thats plain stupid.
He already invites trouble with his personas that share his fucking home. Also if he revealed his strength he could expand his farm to unbelievable lengths farming lifrspan like 10000times quicker and therefore growing that muvh stronger!
It nit logical at all!
Everyone just treats him like a little kid almost because his "cultivation is so low"
And even if it's SAID that he has rspect it doesn't FEEL that way
This s*it is just angering me to a high degree, this is the s*it why I can't like shadow slave, I actually hate it and this novel gives me the EXACT same vibe.
The MC gets s*it in left and right but it's "funny" and has "purpose".
Also whatever he does he's always the weakest around the people he's with and don't say s*it like well obviously he doesn't have a system and sit like that because honestly I don't want to read about him atp.
He just doesn't feel like the MC.. like at all.
Atp it should be elric. Peter is just the "funny" side kick character that gets into a lot of trouble wherever he goes.
And whenever they get stronger you don't even FEEL it cuz they get s*it on anyway or like actually feels like they don't make any progress at all like any at all the author just explains that there is progress being made but it doesn't get shown off, ever.
